One of the things...well the number one thing I enjoy about havnig a woman on top is the fact that it seems to be easier for her to control her pleasure. By the way this is quite probably my favourite position.
SO...that in mind, my suggestion is do what feels best for you. In my opinion there is no greater turn-on than a woman really enjoying herself. Chances are unless you start breaking certain parts of his anatomy off he'll love anything you do, especially if it is apparent you are really enjoying yourself.
