Background:
This is a "sexual spin-off" of the popular Tony and Tina's Wedding Off-Broadway hit. It is about Gina Moretti's and John Goldanzi's upcoming wedding. All the main preparations have been made to date. The story begins one week prior to the wedding date, with all the family members, bridal party, and reception guests starting to arrive. For those that have been involved with weddings, all the crazy running around with final preparations need to be done. Final payments, seating arrangements, bachelor and bachelorette parties, final fittings, tuxes, hotel reservation screw ups, so on and so on (ad nauseum) until just beofre the big day. Then there's the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner, along with the little late night antics on the eve of the big day. Wedding Day finally arrives. During the wedding day, there's also all the other hoopla that goes on, getting the hair, nails and makeup done, getting dressed, all the girls helping the bride, guys getting done up, photo sessions before the wedding, the ceremony, receiving line, limo ride, reception, the after-wedding party, and the post reception goodbyes!
Characters:
A lot of ground can be covered with a slew of varying characters. I will play the part of Tony Venzetti, cousin of the groom, and best man. As such I will try, along with the Maid of Honor (?open?), to direct the flow of activities from their perspectives. No characters have been assumed as of this initial post, other than Tony Venzetti, the Best Man. If you feel like joining the thread, feel free to do so, and jump in at any time. As mentioned above, there are a slew of characters that can play along in a wild variety of scenarios (pretty much anything goes). Sexual encounters can be between any consenting characters, as long as it fits within the general scope of the story. Immediate characters needed are the bride and groom, bridal party members, family members (moms dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, so on). Supporting characters as you see fit can include hotel staff, baker, caterer, hair stylist, photographer, entertainers (band or dj), wedding guests, co workers, and friends, and on and on.
Miscellaneous:
If you can imagine by the names, it's a large Italian family gathering, so it's gonna be huge, lots of money being thrown around, lots of drinking and celebrating, and lots of fun. Not all characters have to be Italian, but the more the merrier. Plot twists, screw-ups, and mishaps, are encouraged to make this story fun.
Please post regularly or write your character out of the story if you cannot continue. If your character does not post a follow-up thread within one week, we will write the character out for you. Each RP'er will be allowed to have two different characters that they can control, if they so desire. There are so many characters to choose from.
