Hi yes Yes I fully intend to look after myself, I know it will be hard seeing Dad like he is. I have plans to go up the country and see my kids and old friends for a couple of days before I fly back home to Gil

Thank you Oman We will be spending Christmas Day with Gil's parents and his daughter, her partner and the grandkids. The first time they have been all together for 14 years.

I was just thinking, that day in 2002 when I signed up here at Lit, little did I know how my life would change and how many wonderful friends I would make. And how I would meet someone who started out as a lovely friend and then became the love of my life.....totally amazing

I'm sure there are a few people who will pop in to check on him from time to time! At least it won't be as long as the last time I left him - that was 6 long weeks from Dec 13 03 till Jan 24 04. This time I get to spend Christmas with him but have to wait till next year to see in the New Year together.....
