I like her! She seems sincere and a little bit less looney than most n00bs.
She also goes out of her way to post with everyone. She's a keeper.

Mona just hit on maybe my favorite trait of my friends, they don't just post with one gender or another. It's hard to be friendly with women who refuse to talk publicly to other women. Elle doesn't do that.

It's nice for me to open up a little bit. I feel your posts have brought that out in me. And it feels good to be able to look outside the square every once in awhile. GB member can be so very cut and dry sometimes. You are not cut and dry at all.

Well said. I agree. Without physically meeting Elle you can tell she is innately kind and is a welcome addition to the sometimes soul sucking grouchiness that shows up here. Plus, she shares useful knowledge of all kinds of subjects.

Some members of the GB have started noticing that Aella/Hashtag and Elle post in the same sort of style, i.e. Over explaining, the same sorts of spelling errors, and there were more indiosyncracies that I don't actually know how I feel about. Elle has always been kind and a fun read. As far as I can tell she's never info mined and that's all that would bother me.

Others speculate that it's a performance alt sort of thing to see how the general board would react to a foreign poster who is combatitive in the case of Aella and kind in the case of Elle. My conclusion is bring on more Elle's.

I don't know what else has happened lately but this board will be poorer for her absence.
