How can a woman tell for sure when it has been used on her? I think it was used on me last night while I was working.

a urine or blood test should be able to it. You should have memory loss and you may even flashback a little bit.

Sounds supspicious. I'd get checked. Even if you didn't get ro'd, the loss of muscular use is a tip off of soemthing bad.

you need to go have lab work done as soon as possible becuase GHB leaves the body fairly rapidly
GHBs side affects are dizziness, nausea, vomitting, confussion, seizures, respiratory depression, intense drowsiness, unconsciousness, coma, and even death. GHB is often made at home, so the potency level can vary greatly. GHB is often in a liquid form and is colorless and odorless but may have a slightly salty taste.
I just wanted to add the info for rohypnol (roofies) since it is also a common date rape drug. It has similar side effects. It is often in the form of a white tablet that is colorless and odorless.
Here are some ways to help prevent being dosed: Open your own beverages, don't share drinks with anyone, don't drink from punchbowls, watch your drink being made, don't leave your drink unattended (take it into the bathroom or out on the dance floor with you), and if it looks or tastes funny--Don't drink it! $5 for a new drink is a lot cheaper than the alternative.

The labwork needs to be done within the first 32 hours. You have to go ASAP... Did you let your drink out of your sight? Don't ever do that, never let anyone unbeknownst to you buy you a drink unless you can see it being made and the bartender hands it to you personally. Yes... that sounds like GHB... Please be careful.

Thanks guys, < as to the drink buying>, since I am an exotic dancer, gentlemen are allowed <and it's even insisted upon> to buy the girl's drinks. However I will admit that I did let my drink out of sight, but I won't be doing anything like that in the future. I will be going in the the ER in about 2 hours to be tested. And also since I was working there is no chance of any rape.<thank god>Does anyone know how long it takes the test to come back wuth results?

From experience I believe that the test took about 24 hours... But I'm not positive. I was pretty messed up emotionally

Thanks Dustyy, I'm really scared that this could have happened to me <especially since my hubby is not around right now>. But also I have been feeling a bit weak, some heart flutters, just not really sure what's happened to me.

It leaves the system v quickly as others have said - a lot of girls here buy bottled drinks & don't pour it into a glass, they keep the bottle with them, if necessary keep their thumb over the top.

I started out feeling very in tune to the music we were listening to, rather like ecstacy I couldnt help my feet and hands from dancing to the music.
After taking a bit more, I started getting really light headed and giggly, rather like being drunk.
Suddenly, as it kicked in even more the guy I was taking it with and me got really intense, we both started crying and getting really emotional about relatives who had died recently.
Straight after that I fell asleep, and was totally unrouseable for 45 minutes, I eventually managed to come round when my partner got scared and insisted that I woke up. I went to the toilet soon after, the first time I'd stood up since I took the large dose, and I had a bit of trouble controlling my legs to walk, almost like I'd forgotten how?
The formula I took was very salty, it tasted extremely nasty and I can't imagine that being slipped into a drink unnoticed. however I understand that all preperations are different.
If you suspect you've taken it inadvertantly, EAT. This will bring you down and stabilise you enough to get to some where safe.
I have a very hazy rememberance of events after I wake up until mid afternoon the next day, and, my short term memory seems to be quite shot at the moment.
I chose to take it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and what I've learned about myself through it, just thought that my experience might help you work out if you were slipped it or not.

....I'm not sure I'd ever allow that "doorman" to take you home again, or any other for that matter! You need to have one good friend among the girls that if anything like this ever happens to either of you again, you would have a word that says, "get me out of here safely!".
I don't think the customers are your greatest worry, watch your back with the hired help, male and female!

I hate to sound like a sissy, but I would report this to the police. Someone could be trialing a batch of this stuff on you. You are vulnerable because of your occupation to some big wack jobs. Please take the time to let the police know this happened to you.
