I will be turning 45 soon and it's all I can do to wrap my mind around that number. I don't look 45....I don't feel 45....but the calendar says that, indeed, I will be that number.

I think I'm coming to terms with getting older. It certainly isn't something we have any control over but it still doesn't make it any easier. 50 is right around the corner. weird.

How do you feel about getting older? Does it bother you at all or just go with the flow?

sometimes it does. i sometimes realize the same thing about 50 around the corner. people you know are dying and not much older than you. makes you realize life is truly too short.

Letting it bother you won't do you any good but just might ruin it for you.

Figure out what is good and hang on tight.

Once you accept that everything wrapped around your mind is 45 as well, aging is easier to deal with.

4O didn't bother me, but 45 was a little tougher to take. Yikes.

I enjoy my age.

Gravity has taken effect and makes my nuts sag but honestly it looks kind of impressive. :D

enjoy the ride, pinkie! :D

why fret over a number? be yourself, enjoy the good stuff, brush off the bad and go wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I cried when I turned 25, I cried when I turned 30 along with 35 and 36. I don't remember if I cried when I turned 40 or not???

I've never taken this well.

so what is it that makes you cry?

pink was weird before she got old......but in a big breasted kinky hot sorta weird way. :D

What's weird is that I'm a 48 year old man trapped in the body of a 68 year old with the mind of a 16 year old boy

Now that I'm in my 50s I kinda like being older. My life is much more settled than when I was younger. I care less about what others think of me (not that I ever cared a lot about that), and I'm that much closer to becoming a grandma, which I really anticipate. Overall it's ok. Sometimes though I feel like I'd give anything for a few days of around 25 again.

Send your daughters to me...you'll be a grandma in no time:D

oh come on...you knew somebody was gonna say it..you just lucked out with me

I know at my age I should just zip it but I've long admired women who embrace their age, not as their identity but as another factor to a broad and enriched life. it is just a number but it's also a badge of honor. Wear it proudly, Pink. :rose:

its just a number

52 here...single
"getting old"is totally different from "maturing"...
getting old means losing youthful traits...exhuberance, playfullness, things like that
"maturing" means bringing those traits to a higher level..
that being said...yup, as much as i hate to admit it, sometimes i do feel "older"..not physically, nor mentally...but i often crack a joke around much younger folks, using a reference from the 50s, or 60s...like a sog or tv show , and get a blank stare..
nothing worse than having to explain what you thought was a good joke..lol

and...

i still do all the things i did at 22..the only difference might be i need a piece of cheesecake and a nap afterwards

there's more time for being you instead of always being at the beck and call of others. i'm 53 and i like it! i get to go out more, enjoy my job, joined a gym, go dancing - loads of stuff i never got to do before. it's cool! and being more experienced with people means you can spot the blowhards and not let them ruin your day, realise not every drama is a crisis, and generally feel more comfortable being yourself :D
