Okay, so my latest have been rushed, but fuckkk I've never rated a three before :(

I guess I'll pull out of the survivor contest and just not write unless I get time to concentrate.

Fuck, a three sucks.

:(

Don't despair, it's only for fun, right? Besides, you'll always be a 5 in my book.:rose:

Thanks babe

They changed my stories description, no wonder it's getting crap votes.

It was written for fun, my original description. Okay, it just sucks.

I'm going back to singing. At least they rave when I suck at that lol

My lowest voted story's 2.5. Still it's nowhere near my worst story, which scores over 4. And my best story scores just under 4.

Basically, I'm just trying to remind you that vote scores are not that reliable an indicator.

Joe.

They did that with my last story. They improved it. I think they know better.

A rhyming Ode to Votes for the poetry portion of Survivor?

I hate it when they change my descriptions or categories! My newest was submitted as NonConsent/Reluctance, but they switched it to Lesbian Sex. Now I'll never have an entry in the NonConsent category. That was my one shot. Don't have any more in me. :(

You mean the descriptions they give your stories.

I'm already disappointed by what they did, and I don't even know what you're talking about.

I've gotten a ton of description changes, which irritate the hell out of me, but so far no catergory changes.

I wouldn't back out of the Survivor contest, though, doormouse. Please don't take this the wrong way, but it's really more a good way to expand into other catergories than a way to gauge if your writing is any good. Even if one of your stories is low scored, you shouldn't worry about it. Perhaps you should edit your story and stick in a note, so people will understand.

They will pick categories. Not every time is it different from the one you picked. If I placed an article with a magazine, they get to use it wherever they like. Or just not use it.

When they do that, just not use it, it feels very bad, like when you thought you'd get to eat her but it didn't happen because her baby brother walked in and broke the mood.

But the market has the say how they use a piece, for me.

But!

The time they changed the title I was thwarted. I named it "40 Days of the Weasel" so it would alphabetize near the top. They made it "Forty."

Inconsistently, when I had a description, "Brenda does Six" they made it "Brenda does 6." I got them to put it back, though. Mr. Six was one of the characters. Brenda did only three through the whole story.

:)

I've submitted four stories so far, one admittedly in a rush of inspiration. That particular one scored low at first but I think it was more a matter of it being an attempt at character development and not "sexy" enough....oh well...

I think I had the benefit of the stories being linked because each one now has at least a 4 rating.

Don't dispair, I think that some tales just take a little while to ferment in the readers mind, I never vote on a story at first glance, unless, of course the story blows me away completely, which is rare.
