Carson, what happened, is I wrote what I thought was a serious story, and everyone told me they liked it because it was so funny. So now I'm type cast as funny. Like a clown, inside I'm actually really sad. People who know me in RL quickly see what a sad person I really am.

That is the tragedy of what happens when your humor, or lack thereof, backfires on you. When your idea of humor doesn't match up with the "norm".

When you're serious, people laugh their asses off.

When you're joking, they get all indignant and think you're being an "asshole".

Really.
