I haven't been around, ya'll... and I'll be out for another long period of time after this--internet connection has been difficult to manage out in the country (I refuse to settle for dial-up). Should have that problem licked in a month or so, though.

Took my girl to a horse auction, but she refused to get it on at the horse auction... which I think is totally disrespectful to the spirit of the horse auction. Because I'm a dirty old man.

I believe that you have the wrong interpretation of "getting a mount" at a horse auction, Joe.

It should involve cinching a saddle, not loosening a belt.
