Get the sandbags, SoCal

Bring it on! We're still technically under a drought here in San Diego.

Winter floods and mudslides followed by summer and fall brushfires. Sounds like SoCal will be normal again.

I'm with Tx, that sub is not going 300ft with flat windows. ;)
The one I was on did 1300 and had no windows.

Yeah, but the screen door leaked. :D

Actually, this is EXACTLY what global warming predicted would happen. More and more of this.

Big Bear and Fawn Skin could be the new twin capitals of California. :D

I don't know. If they got rid of that silly city, Sacramento wouldn't be such a bad place. :D
See, that's one thing Texas--and Wisconsin for that matter--got right. They put their capitols in awesome cities. Hip university towns with a music scene, great restaurants and bookstores. That's where a state capitol outta be.

Sacramento was a river port. It was all about buying and selling. Typical California. The 'cool', 'hip', 'cutting edge of culture' scene is just about marketing. Sacramento is what California is really about.

It's also the biggest goose flyway I've ever seen.

And by the looks of it, there may be. (At least in Southern Cal.) I do love it when the snow hits the peaks and I stare at it from the beach. :D

Yeah, that's what snow is for, to provide water and to look at from 20 miles away! Nasty stuff, up close.
