George Washington had his men inoculated to prevent smallpox.

Just wait....Bobo buttlicker and Wrongturd highway will be along with Loserkian to tell us Washington was Bootlicking Dem(z).

I'm not sure the OP article is accurate. According to this Wiki entry, the first demonstration of using cowpox to inoculate against smallpox happened in 1796:

The smallpox vaccine was the first vaccine to be developed against a contagious disease. In 1796, the British doctor Edward Jenner demonstrated that an infection with the relatively mild cowpox virus conferred immunity against the deadly smallpox virus.

So what??

Want to try and put an argument together or are you just stating facts with no point to your thread??

Even if it was true, so what?? :D

No surprise there.

From the WHO:

The history of smallpox holds a unique place in medicine. It was one of the deadliest diseases known to humans, and to date (2016) the only human disease to have been eradicated by vaccination. The smallpox vaccine, introduced by Edward Jenner in 1796, was the first successful vaccine to be developed. He observed that milkmaids who previously had caught cowpox did not catch smallpox and showed that inoculated vaccinia protected against inoculated variola virus.

The CDC has an expanded story that might be the basis of the GW tale:

One of the first methods for controlling smallpox was variolation, a process named after the virus that causes smallpox (variola virus). During variolation, people who had never had smallpox were exposed to material from smallpox sores (pustules) by scratching the material into their arm or inhaling it through the nose. After variolation, people usually developed the symptoms associated with smallpox, such as fever and a rash. However, fewer people died from variolation than if they had acquired smallpox naturally.

Hmmmm....

What could the point be, when people are highlighting the fact that one of the inventors of "freedom" initiated mandatory inoculations for all new troops coming through Philadelphia during a time when a virus was threatening the nation.

That's a tough one...... for a complete idiot like BoBo.

*bigliest chuckles*

:D

:D

Smallpox kills about a third of those it infects. COVID kills well under 1%, and even then only the already infirm or elderly. There is no reason to order mandatory vaccinations.

I don't know, why don't you try and make the point....nobody else can seem to grow enough of a spine to make it and try to stand bye it.

Why so scared?? :D
