If Carrey can pull of Andy Kaufman, then I think that someone as talented as Geoffrey Rush can pull off Peter Sellers.

I still remember going to Saturday matinee and seeing all the Pink Panther movies. Nobody could do deadpan like Peter Sellers. He was one of the greatest.

I love him as a performer.

"Being There" [script by Jerzy kozinski, who I recall committed suicide a few years ago] is one of my all-time favorite films.


Sellers was chameleon par-excellence.

And Rush is a fantastic craftsman who will handle the enigmatic Sellers well, I'm sure.

Of course, I wonder who the script is being written by and what it is based on. I hope it is not written by that sneaky manservant Kato!
