I agree with Carl and DCL on this.

Basically, simply to leave me in no doubt that she is in love with me and me alone. The specifics are insignificant. I just want her to look into my eyes in such a way that I "know" she adores me.

But if it's specifics you're after see Carl and DCL's posts, and then add TO be held lovingly after lovemaking... or any time at all really. Closeness is wonderful. Nothing shows love like touch.

Thank you so much. As I see it from the replies so far, love, understanding, humor and a certain, oh, amnesia -- if not outright blindness -- regarding transgressions are necessary.

The reason I wanted to know is that I have decided I'm not hiding from my feelings anymore; I'm madly, passionately in love and want very much to show him how much. Our circumstances will not allow for a lot of things, but I am looking for ways so that he's in no doubt.

You are right, it is a hell of a thing to have to ask. Neither of my daughters has the same blood type as I do, so in order to offset fate, I felt obligated to join the bone marrow registry. If I'm ever called, I would donate.

It looks like the poster got her answer, but I'll answer anyway.

The most wonderful thing my lover can do for me is just love me back. I can't ask for anything more than that. I can't ask her to forgive my many minor transgressions because I didn't fall in love with an anal retentive. I can't ask her to be affectionate because I didn't fall in love with an ice princess. I can't ask her to be anything other than that I fell in love with.

It's already been stated in this thread that its best she doesn't change. I just want her to be her wonderful self, keep filling my day with joy when she smiles at me. Jokingly ride my ass when I mess up. Let me know I fill her with happiness when I get down in the doldrums. Just make me half as happy as she makes me.
