All youths think they're hip. I never cease to be amazed at the power of youth culture to generate new memes. For instance, the practice of "ghostriding the whip" or the new booty-dances in dancehall videos with chicks standing on their heads.

Many years ago, one of my employees showed up for work with a leopard pattern bleach job on his buzz cut. This was before tattoos were cool. I told him, "You make me glad I'm 40."
