General stories where Real world meets Fantasy

Hello all,

So I'm looking for something a bit unique. Im looking for stories where modern world crosses over with a Fantasy one. Could be a person crossing over or a GATE style crossover where people can come and go between worlds. I'm looking for stories that have a little culture shock, character development and obviously good erotica. Generally looking for stories told from Male protagonist POV with an Elf/Witch/Fae or something akin to that. But mainly its the overall story and crossover element I'm interested in, with the erotica being second to that. @Rob_Royale 'Wilbur and the Elf' had some of what I was looking for, but not everything. Still a good story that I enjoyed. I highly suggest checking it out.

Thank you! I wrote Laneana as a Celtic river goddess. The bridge - the stones that don't match the countryside - keep her shackled and powerless.

(I stole the idea from "Prince Caspian" by CS Lewis. If the bridge is ever destroyed, the river is free again. That was a possible outcome when I first started on the story.)

There's a whole sub-genre in fantasy around just this premise, called isekai (from Japanese, where it's a popular premise in anime and light fiction) or "portal fantasy." AO3 uses the tag "isekai and transmigration." It often (but not always) features sexual content, and is frequently combined with harem themes, where one guy collects a harem of goddesses, elves, valkyries, cat girls or other furries, sorceresses, orc girls, or what-have-you. In "reverse isekai," fantasy creatures find themselves transported to our world and have to figure out how to fit in.

There are a bunch of them here on LE, but this isn't the main hub for this kind of fiction. Doing a web search for something like "isekai harem web novel" should dig up a bunch of resources; otherwise, many are published as ebooks or audio books by companies like Royal Guard Publishing.

Frankly a lot of them are not very good, IMO. One that I do like is A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest by "Cathfach," which is available online as well as for sale. Female protagonist snatched from Earth and caught in a dungeon-crawl timeloop/repeated resurrection scenario. Sex is not a huge focus, but there are some lesbian, self-cest and fetish themes (bondage and masochism ++, played for laughs).
