Hello. First, I would like to thank you for taking your time to click on link to this thread and to read what I have to say.

I've been a fan of Literotica literature for a few years now. I've always wanted to contribute to the growing library, but have never got around to doing so until now. I would like to share my stories with other members like myself, but being a "newb," I would like several editors to take a look at my work and provide me with criticisms whether good or bad and guidance... or salvage whatever I can if it turns out to be a piece of crap.

This is my very first piece of literature that I ever thought up of and created - who would have ever thought that it would be "erotic" - aside from the various essays and write on demands from high school and college. I hope the idea is original. I intend on developing a series depending on the results of this "pilot." The story fits into the "Science Fiction/Fantasy" categories. The story is named "A and E: The Prologue" and it is approximately six and a half pages long (I don't have Microsoft Word, and I am worried that the text would not retain its "format" if I copy and paste it to a .txt file). I have contacted several editors from the list, and hoping to attract the interest of others with this thread.

I'm new to this "communication via forum" concept, so you'll have to bear with me. I'll be frequently checking the thread for any update posts.

Once again, thank you for taking your time to read this thread.

Hello JzJ and welcome to the EF,

I'm overworked or I would offer you my help but I wanted to welcome you to the wonderful world of editing

I'm sure one of our multiple editors will come along shortly and offer you help.

Just another update...

I received quick replies from two editors - Exiledmaster and WhiteWave48 - and have already sent them my work.

Meanwhile, I received a reply from Exiledmaster after I have sent him/her an email with an attachment of the work. In his/her response, they included an attached "edited" version of the work - to include an editor's comment/note, as well as other minute corrections on the grammar.

I would like to thank Exiledmaster for helping me with my work; for providing excellent feedback with other important notes. If you're looking for someone to edit a piece of work, I would definitely recommend Exiledmaster.

Although I have already received some help, I'm continuing to seek help from other editors. So please do contact me when you have time to look over some work. Thanks

Hello. ... contact me at xxxx@xxx.xxx.
Putting your email there is a very bad idea. There are crawlers around which pick up any email address they can find anywhere on the net and then sell the lists to spammers. I would strongly advise you to edit your entry quickly to delete the @ sign.

The alternative is to get 20 to 40 mails a day advertising breast enhancements, penis lengthening, fake Rolex watches, stock market 'opportunities', etc.

Update

I would like to thank WhiteWave48 for helping me with my work; for providing excellent feedback with other important notes. WhiteWave48 meticulously broke down her notes relative to the story, commenting on the positive as well as providing constructive criticism on the things she didn't like in the story. She provided me with some good insight on writing in general. If you're looking for someone to edit a piece, I would definitely recommend WhiteWave48 as well.

Currently, I'm tempted to submit the story after receiving edits from Exiledmaster and WhiteWave48. I know that there is more work to be done on the story though. So I'm continuing to look for more editors.
