I just uncovered, to my astonishment, the incestuous relationship happening between GM and The Russian government. General Motors (read Government Motors as we "bailed them out" only to have the operation given to the Union and the debt wiped clean by the "Barry O Bookmakers") bought into the Russian market under the name "GM-AvtoVAZ". Right about the same time as the bail-out... Hmmm...

Coincidences? I'm not happy with what I've uncovered. With the super-sleuths on this site, maybe we can get some additional info (with some well needed opinions as well - LOL) to fan the flames of conspiracy.

You need some hefty documentation to prove this. I mean if it proves true. . .I wouldn't post it because it means Bush, Obama and Putin all have the same boss and if that's the truth we're so far gone that unless you're want to fight purely on principle in a fight you can't win for the purpose of making sure you never have children or grandchildren to suffer through whatever their long term plans are (assuming they are nefarious) then by all means.

What's suspicious about that? The bailout was needed when it was needed, and corporations often expand their operations into new countries.

I would add on to my house and add some stalls in the barn, except I don't have the money. You are trying to tell me that it is absolutely possible for me to take the money out of YOUR personal account to fund the additions I want as they would increase the volume of food i could produce, and I wouldn't NEED to pay you back... Damn nice of you!

I could even take a little extra and buy some property in Acapulco (another country) and expand my operation there as well. Again, awful generous

[shrug] Generous != suspicious. If GM already had its Russia plans in train before the bailout, why change them? The point of the bailout was to enable GM to go on doing business as before.

It was a bad deal for both, and to think Romney got crushed with his sentiments. The federal government is nearly $10 billion in the hole on its $49.5 billion bailout of General Motors Co. Also, GM is finding sales down because of resentment from its consumers. It's unlikely that Obama’s prediction that taxpayers will make money on the bailout will come true.....

I read on the interwebs that government motors received $200 billion per day to fake the moon landings, but then they built a pyramid in Costa Rica and pretended to be Myans and said the world was going to end so they didn't have to pay me back the money I was going to use to build a deck on the back of my double-wide.

Hilariously, the joint venture between GM and AvtoVAZ began in 2001. And their first car was produced in 2002.

Remember that a couple months after they accepted the bail-out funds GM DID file for bankruptcy protection and all the bond holders lost their entire stakes, where-as the unions Did Not take a cut in anything except for the fact that the poor old retired union guys lost their entire retirement as they got thrown under the bus by the union (who were handed the reins of the company).
