Gender change story assistance

Although I write for my personal consumption I'm getting mildly concerned that after putting 150 stories out there that they seem to fall into the same genres and I'm looking to try getting out of my comfort zone every now and again.
I can happily write about anal, interracial and mature from first hand experience even lesbian from a spectators point but have no experience of other genres.
One topic I'm considering writing is male to female gender change and wondered if there was anyone out there that has gone through what is a considerable change and is willing to collaborate with me to help steer me on the emotional side.
I'm not looking for any steers in my personal life but I would like to do the topic justice if I can.

It seems to me you are shying away from really embracing your characters. Is it really so hard to put yourself in a woman's shoes?

So, in general there are two types of gender change stories: on the one hand you have fantasy stories where people are magically (in effect if not in name) transformed into the body of another gender, and on the other you have fairly realistic stories of transgender transitioning.

I take it you are talking about the latter type? Because the former type, nobody has any experience with.
