Dear Reader,

If you remember a little while a go on the AH I asked just what the line between snuff and horror was, well there was a reason.

Another author and I co-wrote a nice little horror story named Death Becomes Them. We then proceeded to make a new Lit identity to go with it. Sadly Lit decided that our story was snuff, and after a few re-writes we gave up.

We decided to post under our known names, and I recieved the pleasure of doing so. This is the orginal version with no re-writes. I must give credit where it is due, to my writing partner, as he did an awesome job. TE999, it was a blast working with you!

I do hope you enjoy Death Becomes Them, it is delightfully horrific!

I read the story, Death Becomes Them, Geeky and TE. I can see where the editors would have been cautious. I don't see it as a snuff story any more than my "Delicious" was a snuff story, but both border on murder for some sexual or suxual-like gratification. In some ways I can't blame the editors for being careful. In other ways, in this case, they seem to have been overly cautious since this is clearly a non-human type and not a slasher tale.

perhaps we should have tried the non-human genre instead of erotic horror. Yes sex and death were intertwined, but only as a horror story, you can see much worse in a movie theatre or even on TV, in my opinion. Oh, well it's up on the site and being read, which is the purpose in the end, but I do feel that TE999 is not getting his share of the credit, and that saddens me.

Midnight - a tale of brotherly love is up. It is part of the chain: Midnight: common beginnings. This is a little stroke piece in the loving wives genre. Each author has choosen a Lit category and written a story with the same common beginning, the story starts at midnight. Where the story goes afterwards is up to each author.

I am glad you discovered this thread too! Yes I do write from both male and female POV, glad to hear that I do it convincingly. I do have a few stories to choose from, and someday I will finish 'Jasmine' .... ok I am working on ch7 now.
