They probably won't win tonight's Wildcard Playoff game against the N'Awlins Saints, but I am totally rooting for them.

"The runway at the airport is quiter than the Superdome..." - Al Michaels just now

Anyone else hoping the underdog Lions pull out a miraculous win tonight?

Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson helped me get a 1st Place Fantasy trophy this season... plus I gotta go with underdogs.

Stafford doesn't seem to have any butterflies and scored the 1st TD. I like his swagger.

Ooooh, Lions defense just forced and recovered a fumble! LIONS BALL!!!!

Yes.

I ain't no Ain'ts fan.

I like Brees but am not a fan of Coach Payton. Well, I liked Brees way better before his recent romp to beat Dan Marino's record the way he did. When Peyton beat a Marino record he was nothing but polite and honorable. Brees seemed a tad too drunk on Sean Payton's kool-aid to be as eloquent.

I am pulling for them. I love it when a team comes back from the dead to reach the thick of the fight.

In NFL playoffs it is do or die. Go Lions.

Brees just turned it over to the Lions. I'm getting way over my head now in thinking they may actually pull this off. Aren't I?

My beau is pissed that they called the whistle on that Brees fumble because the dude had a convoy (his word) to protect him to take it in for a touchdown. Says they shoulda let the play keep going...

Not really. It is one game, winner take all. If the two teams are even reasonably matched anything might happen.

No disrespect to the Lions but the best team does not always win. Sometimes the team that played the better game does not win.

No shit. Should be 21-7.

This is the part of the game when the Saints get all the calls their way.

Again.

Oh fuck you Chris Collinsworthlessness, Sean Payton was scared to Betsy just a few ago.

I miss Drown and his postings whenever it came to the Saints.

They were so properly indented, colorful and (dare I say) brilliant.

Now he's all Wobnoided.

Where the fuck is Killswitch>? His NFL team hasn't been in a Playoff game since 1999.

Colsten for another reception and Chris Colllinsworthlessness says, "It's almost unfair."

The Ain'ts certainly got a home-field spot on that last drive.

They're 8-0 at home this season

They're the Saints

They have VooDoo witches with VooDoo dolls to poke and prod (I know all too well since my Colts were ousted by them)

Matthew Stafford looks like the guy you send off to get more beer when the keg runs dry; not a SB contender

LSU vs. Alabama Monday night.... boner alert for all in N'Awlins

Well, the Ain'ts did get a few home-team calls, but Deetroit just couldn't get its defense off the field. And they missed one certain-looking pick. And they got 0 points off the 2 fumble recoveries.

Lions lose, fair and square.

Shame that Detroit couldnt get a victory, but if they werent facing NO they would have, and its their fault

Looks like the Saints will be moving on. Im happy, i hate the dirty Lions.
