Gay swingers parties?

Hi. I'm trying to find ways of meeting guys for sex, but I'm inexperienced and I'm unsure of how I'll react when the time comes. Because of this I don't want to use a website and arrange to meet someone because I don't want to lead anyone on or mess them around (if I change my mind).

I live nowhere near any clubs or bars, so I was wondering if there's such things as gay swingers parties that are held at private residences where you could perhaps pay a small fee and just go in and relax and get used to the idea in a relaxed setting. Then I could see if I wanted to go ahead or not. If I decided I'm not into it after all no one is put out or inconvenienced.

The trouble is I've got no idea how to find out about such things. I'm not in the gay scene and have no gay friends. I thought about asking on a local gay forum but there doesn't seem to be anything adult in nature on it, it's all about politics and coming out and stuff.

I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas, or if you've been to parties like that what was it like and how did you find out about it? In Auckland would be ideal, but anywhere would be useful just to get an idea of what to do.

Yes, there are gay sex parties that are pretty laid back. At least there are in the US; I don't know about NZ. I think they are usually word of mouth though, so you would have to make contact with the local gay community to find out about it. (Could be over the internet, but you'd have to find someone local at least.)
