*gasping for breath* those were too funny...did you see the comment underneath the first one about how "racist" carlos mencia is??? that cracked me up...he's exactly the kind of dee dee dee carlos would make fun of!

It never ceases to amaze me how comedians are so eager to exploit their own stereotypes for a laugh . . . and a buck.
In a few years, Carlos Mencia will be hosting some obscure cable comedy program, and he'll be less funny. It will be canceled halfway through the season.
Then he will appear, to scattered light applause, at some celebrity roast --probably that of George Lopez -- on Comedy Central. And try to be as biting and 'raw' as possible. Except, it won't work.
He'll fade away and end up as the counter person at your local Burger King, asking if you want to add pickles to your burger . . . and thus reinforcing the same stereotype he tried to make fun of.
Think I'm wrong? Anybody remember Paul Rodriguez?
Still, for the moment, I gotta admit, Mencia is damn funny . . . .
