Gay (or lesbian ) idea set in medieval times

Not interested in writing man on man stories, but had this idea I thought I'd share. Maybe it will inspire someone.

Set the story in the far past. Medieval period.

The king's son has tutors for everything.
He has a tutor for Latin and French.
He has a tutor for mathematics (I have 3000 soldiers, I need 6000 loaves of bread per day, I need 30 bakers etc)
He has a tutor for swordfighting of course.
All of his tutors are male.

As the prince will one day marry, the king gets gets him a new tutor. A tutor in lovemaking.

And though his lessons are, in theory, about how to pleasure a woman...
All these private, naked lessons about thrusting, and what it feels like to have your cock sucked....

Let's just say one thing leads to another.

The story could then go forward with the prince seducing his other tutors.

It could also be done as a lesbian story without too much trouble. Especially if you can provide a medieval dildo or strap-on, possibly made of deer antler or something.

Depends on setting and how it's defined, but the further you go into the past... or let's say, very few settings ever have been so hostile to alternative sexuality than the recent past in anglophone industrial world. Then, few settings have had such numerous middle class, and middle class is where's the prudishness usually is lurking. Upper classes are perverted because they can get away with it, lower classes because they can't avoid it. The middle class can't afford, but can avoid.

Medieval dildos are very certainly a thing.

Female on female is often seen as not sex at all, and romantic relationships of the nature as phase of development associated with teenagers, something they're supposed to "grow out of" after (often forced) marriage. In short, nobody cares.

Gay male... Hellenic Greek saw it as normal older men had young boy lovers they tutored. In military, gay relationships were seen as beneficial for the order of battle. In phalanx, the more battles you survived the further down the ranks you moved. To ensure the untrained sacrificial newbies in the first lines stood fanatically in defense of the experienced soldiers behind, said soldiers took said newbies for lovers.

At the other end of history and attitude, current Russian barbarism growing from their longstanding prison culture doesn't see "tops" in gay relationships as gay at all. Only the "bottoms" are gay and shunned, and degraded. While contemporary, it is very much medieval in nature and sociopolitical structure, so can possibly be informative as a model.

I've already a story in the works on just such a scenario.

In this kingdom, there is a royal matchmaker. It is her job to find suitable matches for the royal children. She travels widely in the course of her duties. But while she is at home, it is also her job to train the royal children in the art of lovemaking.

Noble families who would wish to marry their child to the crown, would also figure out the means of training their children similarly, so they might impress the matchmaker when she arrives.

In common villages and towns, there is usually a wise-woman who treats the sick and injured, but may also act as matchmaker in that locality. It's seen as a way to help ensure a good match and sexual compatibility which they deem vital to a successful marriage.

I wrote a story based on a gay hentai I've seen a few times. In my story, a pair of horse thieves get captured by ogres and non-con fucked by either goblins or the Ogre's wives to get pregnant. Later, a group of soldiers pursuing the horse thieves get captured as well, and one of them is the prince undergoing military training. He negotiates with the Ogre leader for their eventual release, but in the meantime strikes up a romantic relationship with one of the thieves. Later on, he (the thief) becomes the Prince's consort in the palace.
