Gay Male: I am in Love With an Idiot

I envision this "dumb jock" (maybe professional athlete?) or "dumb manual labor" type role. I want to read a gay male story with a simple-slow-dumb-sweet-dopey-oafish-jockish type guy paired with an intellectual-tough-loner-that's-embarrassed-because-he's-in-love-with-an-idiot type guy.

I want the idiot to be oafish, but not actually mentally-challenged. He should be a functioning adult and just old-fashioned unintelligent.

Notice I said intellectual-TOUGH guy. Maybe he's a gangster or a hot shot lawyer.

I prefer slow builds. If you MUST you can have passionate-magnetic-lust-charged sex early, but I seriously do not want this to be a lovey-dovey-mushy story. The love should be slow, reluctant, and kind of creep up on the characters. They are not looking for a relationship at the time of their meeting, simply because they are in their late twenties(?) and they just focusing on "establishing themselves" or whatever.

I want the story to include their initial meeting.

I am open to any variation really, because I will appreciate the author that delivers the stories hard work.

Sorry if the prompt jumps all over the place. This is a cut and paste of a prompt I suggested in on other sites. It is my personal original prompt.

That would work. I suppose you are going with some sort of book-deal-type-ghost-writer thing. I read A LOT, so there are not any new scenarios for me. *shrugs* Reading is my sole entertainment by choice.

The 3 most-important-special-things I want in the story:

1. Pull off the "dumbness" without making him seem "special." He should be physically big, but he doesn't have to be bigger than the other guy.

2. Making his partner intellectual AND tough.

3. Both need to be masculine men, in attitude and in stature. (I always prefer a masculine pairing.)

Whatever you decide, I will be excited to read it. I thinks it's versatile, as in it could be long or short. I would prefer long of course, maybe at least 15-20 lit pages. You can do more of course, but whatever you do PLEASE finish it. Prompts are the extent of my writing ability. Gosh, I "peeked" at your profile!! You could be the first male to ever answer one of my prompts!!
