I remember the story was about a shy guy who drove people to and from parties for a living. He didn't consider himself part of his group of friends, adhering to "rules" that he had to be useful for them to even allow him to be with them. From his perspective at least.
The story was written from two people's perspective. The shy guy driver and the gay hunk who took home one night stand after one night stand while ignoring the shy driver.
The group of friends get drunk on a "special tequila" sending the hunk into a drunken somewhat hallucinating stupor in which he thinks he has forced himself on the shy driver, when in fact he just came off as drunk, goofy and weird, but the shy driver thinks HE has taken advantage of his drunk friend.
Love ensues.
Its a really sweet story, but i remember the title as "designated driver" and that seems to be wrong. Please help!
