Ok, I may be demostrating naivety here but from what I understand cock rings keep you hard, and the gates of Hell make it physically painful to have even a partial erection. The harder you get, the more it hurts.

I wear mine at times when not engaged in sexual activity, so more than 20 minutes would generally be ok...having siad that, if you are experiencing difficulty urinating with it on (assuming when flaccid) maybe you are too big for it? We have been using it while at home as a type of chassity, it helps keep those constant erections down,while working around the house. I found that you diffintely should be flaccid to pee.
