Sigh.

There isn't one in my town either.

Anybody know of a good organizer store online? I'm looking for a makeup organizer.

Send a man to shop? ;)

Thank you, Ladydarkfire. That's exactly the link I needed.

GASP....yes....send a man to shop. What do you think, for the past...oh.....say 25 or so Christmases and relatives birthdays and such, that I paid a woman to do my shopping?? (which isn't a bad idea, really...but I digress)

And I know about makeup organizers. Yes. Me. A man. I own a lot of stage makeup, which I carry around in a big tackle box. I probably own more make-up than most women. But then again, most women don't have to worry about having to age from 40 to 60 to 80 within the space of two hours....or play a biker (complete with tatoos)...or a pirate....or an animal in a children's play. Or have 5 different styles of beards and moustaches.

I can do all of that with the contents of my little 8x14x18 box. :)

Nigel, you do sound like you know what you're doing. :)

I did stage makeup for a bit in college, and then I used a tackle box too. I seriously considered M.A.C.'s makeup box at $210 today but thought better of it.

I really want a counter organizer, not a travel box.

You are quite welcome, I use their organizers for most things, which is why I thought of it.

Have you checked out Home Depot? Reno's got a couple of those.

Home Improvement stores would have a wide selection of organizers for work-benches. One of them should suit most of your needs. "Pretty" is about the only requirement they probably won't fill, although they can probably manage "NOT Ugly."

Good suggestion, Harold, but I do want it to look good as it will be sitting out on my counter in my bathroom.

Are you going to be coming up this way now that winter's over?

I don't organize anything....I only wear matching socks when I wear shorts...

What I meant was that you wouldn't be likely to find flowered or satin covered organizers at a home improvement store. (as april-wine pointed out, you could always buy some glue and decorations at the same time.)

What you would find is on the order of Rubbermaid (tm) organizers or plastic parts bins that are neat and neutral so they don't clash with anything even if theyy aren't fancy.

I might be in Fallon around Mid-July. My hunting buddy is in one of his grumpy-old-man phases right now and not communicating much.

I haven't done a play in a while, so it'll be interesting if I get cast in the two plays I'm auditioning for soon....

I think I paid about 25 bucks for my tackle box. If I ever pay $210 for a makeup box, I'm going to have someone club me over the head with a 5 iron.... ;)

Ruby...I grew up the only male in a house with two females...I've lived with three women in my life. I think I know what a countertop makeup organizer looks like..... :)

Harold, April, good suggestions.

Harold, let me know when you come up. I make a mean cup of joe. ;)

Will do.

Another place you might consider, is an office supply store -- Desk organizers are better looking than parts bins.
