Gargoyles anyone?

One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled.

We were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect,

Frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years.

Now, here in Manhattan, the spell is broken, and we live again!

We are defenders of the night!

We are... GARGOYLES!!!!


Anyone ever see the show? If you haven't the idea is pretty simple.
Goliath, Bronx, Hudson, Broadway, Brooklin, and Lexington are gargoyles from the past. They are now in New York, befriended by a multi millionaire David Xanatos, they are defenders of the city, righters of the once wrong.

We might have a Demona, but everything else is open, or create your own character. An experiment of Xanatos, a human that knows too much, robot or android, magical. The whole Gargoyle universe opens up for many combinations.

I might be, I used to be fairly active in the Garg fandom back in the day. It's been a little while since I last RP'd it. ^.^

Personally, though, I'd like to see either a plot or a situation base for us to play off of before I jump into anything. I don't improv well in such a well established universe without a little direction. *L*

I would like to join this thread, but I agree with Fox. I need some guidence in order to proceed with this. I use to watch the show all the time and it would be difficult to jump into something that set. Could you please post a short storyline so that we will have some idea where we want to go with this?

Well, to be honest I'm still open to suggestions. I thought it would depend on the characters people wanted to be just where we set things.

If you are going to make me put a time frame though, let's say when the Gargoyles are living on top of the police Station. Xanatos has become not exactly an enemy, but he is neither a friend. After Avalon, only because you can play those characters if you so desire.

Other than that, I'm curious to see what other people want to do. There is a lot of freedom in the Gargoyle universe.

I would like to join.. I liked watching the show too... Is there still room? say for another experament with gargoyal DNA by Xanatos? If i remember right they came up with a cure for the mutants who started to degenerate. So shouldnt be too hard to come up with something like that or even play another female gargoyal arriving from avalon. What do you think?

Go for it. Xanatos experiments are open, as well as Avalon characters, or people from the past, future, or even Atlantis are more than welcome. With this combination you can literally make up whatever character you want and play them.
