There are at least 25 homicides in the city of Chicago, Illinois, on a daily basis. Most of them are caused by firearms and are gang-related. How come the corporate media doesn't use this as a talking point to enact strict anti-gun legislation? What about how all these gang members and convicted felons were able to acquire firearms to commit homicides and violent crimes?
Crime and violence in the city of Chicago has come to such a point, where the police are overwhelmed and the state governor has requested the national guard to assist in law enforcement efforts.
If you are convicted of a felony crime, your right to bear arms is revoked. Most gang members already have lengthly criminal records involving drugs and violence and are not legally allowed to purchase or own a firearm.
Home invasions are the highest in states that have draconian gun laws such as Illinois/New York,/New Jersey/etc... This is because the intruder knows that the tenants of the home they are breaking into are very unlikely to be armed and therefore are defenseless. Especially if the intruder(s) themselves, are brandishing firearms.
Most burglars would tell you that they would think twice about breaking into a home that has weapons. Unarmed tenants makes the job a walk in the park. States with strict gun laws have extremely high crime rates because law-abiding citizens are not allowed to own weapons, while career criminals and gang members acquire theirs illegally.
People being targeted by draconian anti-gun legislation are those who would only use a firearm in defense of theirs or someone else's life.
These mass-shooting events such as the Gabrielle Giffords Safeway slaying, the Batman movie theater shooting, and the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre are highly questionable in terms of their legitimacy and whether or not hey are cunning and elaborate black operations perpetrated by shady criminal elements of government/intelligence so they can exploit them to advance a political agenda. And the fact that they are even willing to murder small children for added shock value in order to do this is testament to their level of depravity.
Isn't it an eerie coincidence to how mass-shootings almost always seem to happen shortly before an anti-gun bill is to be voted on by congress? Did you ever stop to think that perhaps it isn't a coincidence at all? The US government was caught red-handed deliberately arming violent drug gangs in Mexico with tens of thousands of military-style weapons and then use their corrupt puppet media to it on blame the 2nd amendment of the US constitution. And then state and corporately-run media immediately ran an onslaught of confusing disinformation and psych warfare to cover it up.
"They" (whoever this sinister criminal group operating inside our govt' and media is) will stop at ABSOLUTELY NOTHING until the 2nd amendment is repealed and 100% of Americans are disarmed via forced and mandatory physical confiscation. This is just one small step in what appears to be America's transformation from a free and prosperous democracy to ruthless authoritarianism run by big banks and mega-corporations.
