Hi all,

Haven't been here in a while,and was saddened to see that the Gallery Thread/sub folder has disappeared.

Have they been put into a new forum, or just dumped??? I wanted to retrieve some of my photographs.

Check over in the Visual Arts forum.

Throbbs (Someone you know well by a new name) hangs out over there and can probably tell you more than anyone.

Hi Tx, we're doing great thank you. Fully married now. Thanks to new laws in UK, we were able to convert our Civil Partnership to Marriage. Took place in April, with families present from both sides.

Thanks for the hint, will look up Throbbs for some info.

I wanted to retrieve some of my photographs.

1) If the pictures are attachments, go to your UseCP and at the bottom of the list of options is "manage attachments;" that gives you access to every attachment you have in the database regardless of where the post they're attached to is located. There are links to the posts also, so you can track down where they're located.

2) If the pictures aren't attachments, go to advanced search and search for your username. That should turn up any posts you have and point you in the direction of the proper forum. You may have to tinker with the search parameters if your posts are over a year old or the ones you're looking for are more than 500 posts back.

Thanks WH and Tx, went to the Visual Arts Thread and found my gallery, and all my pics, which I have now retrieved. It's hard to believe it's been 7 years since I posted anything on there. I may have to change that.

When they created that forum, I thought they moved all the photo and art stuff over there.

Get your butt back here more often, you are missed.
