My story is about a witch who accidentally gets a demon for a familiar, and their subsequent adventure. The working title is, unsurprisingly, "The Demon Familiar." At the moment, the story is upwards of 35 pages, and shows no sign of finishing soon.
What I'm looking for is someone who has some time on their hands and feels up to a challenge. I need an editor who can tell me if some phrasing doesn't sound quite right, but, more importantly, if parts of the plot are inconsistent or heavy-handed.
I'm posting here because when I search on the editor page, I get more than 300 editors; far too many for me to peruse in depth.
I'm also looking for advice on certain aspects of the story that I have yet to put down in my word processor. (Which reminds me, I use WordPerfect, but can also use WordPad or paste into an e-mail.)
I hope the editor of my dreams will see this, and come to my rescue.
Happy Editing,
Kathryn
