So, this is a bit random, from the girl who rarely starts threads.
But I remember a thread a while back about mummifing people with different types of tape - ace bandage, whatever....
And the other day at work, a friend had taped tightly around his wrists with gaff, or gaffers tape - it's a cloth tape that leaves no sticky residue. He said it was for a pressure wrap as a wrist brace, b/c his arm had been bothering him. I asked, doesn't that hurt when you rip it off?? And he told me that when you sweat, the gaff tape adhesive to your skin is broken, but it still sticks to itself as it wraps the rest of the way around your wrist on itself.
Did that make any sense? Gaff tape is 2" wide, usually, and comes in black or white or some other colors, and theatrical suppliers sell it for about $15 a roll around here, or at this site for even less -

I've never bought from them, but that gives you some idea...
Anyway - the obvious fun that could be had with gaff tape, had I the right person, immediately occurred to me... and I wanted to share with you all, and if anyone tries it and wants to share whether it was fun or not, I'd love to hear about it.
