Gabriel N The Elven...Closed...

Gabriel managed to escape the two Orcs and hide when they attacked his camp. Most of the others were already fighting the western wall while some to the others were on the northern wall, and with half of the army away they would all be killed he though. This was a losing battle and they all knew it, and they all ran.

He was not afraid to fight at 6’4 well muscled with years of fighting, blue eyes with black curly hair down to his shoulders. He just was to young to die at 25, and fighting a whole hoard of Orcs was suicide.

Gabriel ran towards the forest when he saw his way clear, but he saw four Orcs chasing after him. The next time he looked back he saw two, but didn’t slow down and kept going knowing that they might try to cut him off. He was sure he could handle two of them but four was a little to risky. Lucky for him he guessed well when he turned left and he saw two coming his way.

He drew his sword and stop to face them and draw his long poignard with his left hand. The two Orcs were huge even though he was 6’4, but he was sure their shorter blades would give him the advantage. The Orcs being rather on the clumsy side, he was able to move faster and when they both charged him, he side step and cuts one Orcs hand right off.

The other lets out a very loud growled and charged, but this time Gabriel stood with his sword straight out toward the Orcs neck and caught the Orc by surprise. The Orcs tried to hit his sword out of the way, but Gabriel swings his sword under the Orcs sword and the Orcs runs right into Gabriel sword with his neck.

He was not abut to wait for the other two Orcs and started to run again. He could hear the sound of them running, but the sound was louder as if there were more than two and were getting closer. He looked around to see the best which way to run thats when he froze still, as four Orcs were holding an Elven woman walked in his direction as he came out of the woods.

“Shit” he said mentally, debating weather he should try help her or turn around a run. He had already killed two of them, and if his luck held maybe he could help her. He had no idea how they caught her or where they were taking her, but he knew that to fight him it would take at least two of them. This would give her a half chance to escape, from what her knew of the women warriors, he was sure she could get away. Especially if he could kill one of them.

They all looked at hime and one of them walked towards him. He knew he couldn’t go back into the woods, and then run into the others and pulls his sword and stood his ground glancing at the girl. As he expected the brute changed him with his sword raised in the air ready to strike, and he just kneeled at the last minute and his sword went through his chest, and he rolled out of the Orcs way and quickly pulled his sword out.

She was talking to him but he couldn’t understand a word, after one Orc held her and the other two advanced towards him. He was to busy fighting the two Orcs and he hoped she manage to escape, and as he wounded one and turn to wards the other to fight. He saw an arrow go right through his neck, and when he looked at her the Orc was on the ground holding his crotch. The elven had her bow now and she was about to drive her sword into the Orcs neck.

She started talking to him and pointing behind him, and though he didn’t turned around, he saw her starting to run. He took off after her running as fast as he could. The sound coming from the woods could only be the Orcs chasing him. She didn’t slow don but caught up to her and she enter the forest she was running into. He had no idea where she was going, but was better then been in the wide open where the Orcs could see them.

Shyael, a tall, slender elf, stood straight as the Orcs continued along their path. They had taken her weapon and tied her hands. Though she could free herself and make a clean getaway, she had a feeling that she needed to stay on the path she was on. She believed she was “taken” for a purpose, though the Orcs thought she was just a terrible fighter. They were not very bright and she was willing to let them have this for the moment.

Her eyes fell upon a human running to where they were and surprised by what he saw. Though, she would be as well. She started to wonder if he was the reason she felt the need to stay captive. If he was, she would need to help him escape the Orcs.

She was grabbed from behind as the events unfolded before her eyes. She kept her eyes on the human for a moment before swiftly freeing herself from the Orc’s grasp. She was talking to the human the whole time, telling him there was a whole camp of Orcs nearby and he needed to be quiet and dispatch of them quickly.

Once she was able to get to her weapon, she was able to help him. She, once again, tried to tell the human that there would be more orcs coming soon, but he did not understand her. Then again, she did not understand the dribble that human’s used either. She hoped, however, he would at least be smart enough to follow her. She did know which way to go, to keep from being discovered.

She looked over her shoulder briefly to make sure he was following her. She led him into the deep woods. There was a small nook that was protected with magic from the evil things that lurked. She had helped with making the place. It was only easy to find to those with magically abilities and was very useful in times like this.

She led into the small grove. She pointed around them and tried to convey to not leave the area as best she could. He would not be seen as long as he did not leave. Once the Orcs passed it would be safe for them

Just before he entered into the woods he turned to see if the Orcs were still fallowing, though they were fallowing them they were to far behind them to worry about it. He fallowed her into the deep woods and into some grove till she stopped, and then she was pointing around the whole place.

He tried to figure what she was trying say pointing and realized she didn’t want him to away from there, but the problem was that if the Orcs came that way they would see them. He looked at her and she didn’t look worried, and he wondered if this place was invisible but not to her.

He smiled and nodded his head, and pointing at himself and said “I am Gabriel” then pointed at her. She must’ve understood him because she said Shyael. He tried to repeat her name looking her. He could hear the sounds of the Orcs but they never came within view, and slowly the sound faded away till it was all quite.

He tried not to look at her but hard for him not to. He never saw a woman that beautiful before Elven or human. She was tall and slender and being this close her head was around the top of his shoulder, and then there was that captivating smile that really got him.
