FWB’s versus Affairs

Directing this post to those who have ever had, or are presently in either situation.

Previously, my FWB situations always evolved to feel and become more of an affair. Which was way too cozy, and crossed out of my comfort zone for discretion and confidentiality.

I’m Curious others’ view of this. Does the former, given enough time, inevitably lead to the latter?

It doesn’t have to. I’ve had a FWB relationship that didn’t. We were just in it for the fun. Nobody has to catch feelings.
