So here I am typing away, and I feel a paw on my knee. I glance over, and there is an orange cat staring solemnly at me. Beside him, a callico kitten is watching me intently. Just then the computer clock turns over from 6:59 to 7:00. Kitty dinner time. They blink in unison. It's like the Twilight Zone only fuzzier.

We've been Christmas shopping, and there's only a few people left on our list. My fiance suggests out of the blue, "Hey, I know what to get your dad - a subscription to Crochety Old Bastard magazine!" Yep, it's Christmas chez Naudiz.

There's no real point to this post. I'm bored and talkative. So how is everyone?

hi, bored...

i'm scylis.. nice to meat you!
err..
meet you.. the "meating" part would come later, would it not?
hehehe

but i'm a little melancholy and embarassed, myself.. i got a bit of acne.. on a place i'd rather not have it...

I am bouncing off the walls.

I have these gourmet brownies that are covered in chocolate and topped with M&Ms, sprinkles, etc. and I have eaten too many. Unbelievable sugar rush. :D

Bored with Xmas...

Roll on the new year.

Kitty's rule, when I used to live with a cat and a dog in the house, Porche the fast cat always said when it was time to eat, or have some attention paid needing strokes or pats.

If anyone wanted to go for a walk it was Porche who led the way, he always met me getting out of the car and walked me to the door, getting a stroke and a pat and a rub between the ears.

Damn I miss that bully of a cat.

EzzyEzzyEzzy!

The orange guy is such an attention whore. Anyone who enters his domain is obviously there to provide a lap for him, of course.

Growing up, I had a lot of cats. My family lived out in a rural area, so the cats roamed free outside. One of my kitties was blind. When I would go for walks, he would follow along with the rest. Once in awhile, he'd get lost and end up in the bushes, and he'd meow pathetically until I came to rescue him, and I'd carry him back to the house.

One day, I heard the tell tale pathetic meowing from the bushes and went to go get the blind kitty and found one of the others trying to get a free ride back to the house. Lazy bastard. I love 'em.

Man, why is it so boring around the holidays? I guess it's winter depression taking its toll. I can't wait until the new year.

Hey, Kitten Eyes - send a few of those over this way. :)

Hi there, scylis. I dunno, if these holiday doldrums get much worse, a good meating might just hit the spot. ;)
