Fusion GPS, the firm hired by the conservative Republican who owns the Washington Free Beacon, to investigate collusion and other illegal matters by the con artist, has finally spoken its mind. Specifically, how the Republican-led committees have no intention of doing their job but rather, are working diligently to call it quits without actually investigating anything.

In a letter to The New York Times Op-Ed page, the company explains only their financial records have been requested by the committees, not those of Deutsche Bank and others who the con artist was doing business with. How only bits and pieces of the firm's testimony before three Congressional committees have been selectively released while the full transcripts remain hidden from public view.

The letter explains how they found widespread evidence the con artist and his organization had worked with a wide array of dubious Russians in arrangements that often raised questions about money laundering.

Still further, the firm explains how portions of the Steele dossier were confirmed which showed Russia deliberately working on ways to elect the con artist.

In short, Fusion GPS lays it all out in the open. How they came to be involved in this traitorous travesty, how the information obtained has been corroborated, how none of the clients knew of any other client, how the FBI and other intelligence agencies had been alerted to this national security threat, how Congress refuses to do the investigation needed to uncover the con artist's collusion.

In the end, Fusion GPS calls out Republicans for trying to do the same thing they tried when Nixon was about to be impeached: distraction. During the Watergate hearings, Republicans suggested the Democrats should be investigated for their supposed "wrongdoings" in previous elections. It didn't work then and it won't work now.

Excellent smackdown

Russian social media conglomerate gave information about Trump campaign to Senate investigators: report

Russian social media monolith Vkontakte has provided information to the Senate Judiciary Committee about one of their senior executives allegedly communicating with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

As Talking Points Memo reported Wednesday evening, Vkontakte, a company similar to Facebook, “appears to be cooperating with the Senate Judiciary Committee by providing documents related to communication between Russian nationals and Dan Scavino, a Trump campaign staffer who now works as the White House social media director.”

Scavino was reportedly also in contact with British publicist Rod Goldstone after the infamous Trump Tower meeting between top campaign aides and Russian nationals in June 2016.

TPM Reported
The Washington Post first reported on an email exchange last month, citing “people familiar with the messages.” Sidorkov emailed Scavino and Donald Jr., offering to help make Trump’s campaign “the top news in Russia,” the Post reported. In response, Scavino expressed interest, but it isn’t clear that the conversation progressed beyond that introduction.

The Post added that Scavino’s liaison with Vkontakte was Rob Goldstone, the music publicist who also brokered the Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump, Jr, and a Kremlin-linked lawyer.

On Wednesday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, sent letters to Scavino and Brad Parscale, the Trump campaign’s digital director, asking about the campaign’s contacts with Russia. “[T]he Committee has received information that you may have corresponded with Russian nationals regarding Trump campaign social media efforts,” Feinstein wrote to Scavino.

What does congress know and when did they know it?
