Furry Wars: Wrath of the Dravakyan Empire

Well, this is a new RP idea I thought I’d try, seeing as how Titans is going too slow.

In times past, the galaxy was peaceful. Many forms of life spread across many planets, and Ambassadors from each world would gather regularly on Adonis, forming the Galactic Alliance. Each planet would have a King, Queen, Baron, Regent, President, or some other form of ruler, and would be in control of their realm, so long as they abided by Galactic Laws set in place by the Alliance.

But then things started to get out of hand. Shortly after Cain Cobra was elected High Chairman of the Alliance, he secretly organized an army and sent them to attack the canine homeworld of Rover Prime. Then, the Black Army, as they were called, moved on to attack Rover II, Rover III, and Rover IV. Using what came to be known as the Black War to gain emergency powers, he sent Alliance forces to fight the Black Army. However, those loyal to him were in the Alliance Army, and when the time came, they turned on their comrades and joined the Black Army, squashing most of the Alliance forces. Then, with help from others loyal to him, Cobra sabotaged the security of Adonis, and the Black Army arrived on the planet. Declaring himself King Cobra, backed by his massive army, he forced many of the Ambassadors to swear allegiance to him. Then, after moving the capital to his homeworld of Dravakya, King Cobra renamed the Alliance as the Dravakyan Empire, renamed the Black Army as the Imperial Military, and sent them out to eliminate all who would not pledge their allegiance to the new Empire.

Within five years, King Cobra had control of over a hundred systems. Within twenty, he controlled all of the worlds within the Inner Galactic Rim. The only planets that weren’t controlled directly by the King were those in the Outer Rim Territories. Seeing them as wastes of his time and nothing more than breeding grounds for scum and filth, he let them be. This proved to be a mistake, however, because unbeknownst to him, the ruler of Rover Prime, Alphalord Duke Doberman, was away at the time of the attacks on his world. Once he became aware of the attacks, and then the corruption of the Alliance, he withdrew to the Outer Rim World Moskan, and began to build a Rebellion. Then, twenty years after King Cobra’s galactic takeover, an aged but tough General Doberman led what he called the Rebel Alliance into Imperial Territory.

Over the next five years, the Alliance gained many brilliant victories, as well as many new allies, who immediately switched sides when they saw there was a force standing up to the Empire. Perhaps the greatest aide to the Alliance is the feline-controlled Felis System, which includes the feline capital of Panthera, the ice world of Uncia, the jungle planet of Chaus, and the desert planet of Margarita. The leader of the felines and second to General Doberman is Colonel Lars Leonhart.

Dragonrazor has dibs in Jake Clawson.

i'll consider it, jeff. aside from the blatant star wars ripoff, i don't want a repeat of the Justice League issue....

I dont know much about it if it was a shopw, but i have to admit, that its sounds great, and if you'll all have me i'm in.

would be nice to have abit more detail though...like are we restricted to like canines and felines for species or what ect.

As long as you don't do in here what you did in Titans, you can join. But you need to work on your grammar dude. Your posts should be easy for everyone to read. I can't stress enough how important it is to proofread your posts before posting them. Write them up in a word processor, use spell check, make sure you are using words right via a dictionary and thesaurus. I used all this within Microsoft Works Word Processor. Use proper distinction between narration and dialogue.

Galactic Timeline
(A Galactic Year is 60 weeks comprised of 7 24-hour days each, which equals to 420 days. Five weeks equal one month, and twelve months equal one Galactic Year. The day names are the same as the real world, but the Galactic Month names go from GM-1 (short for Galactic Month One) to GM-12 (Galactic Month Twelve.)

Galactic Year 0001: First meeting of the Galactic Alliance. Richard McGrizz is elected the first High Chairman.

Galactic Year 0489: The Alliance steps in to aide the rodent world of Rozaria against an invasion from the felines of the Felis System. Later in the same year, the canines of the Rover System come to help the rodents as well.

Galactic Year 0503: After fourteen years of war, the felines finally surrender, and sign a treaty. The Felis System, the Rover System, and Rozaria all join the Alliance.

Galactic Year 1107: The Alliance is attacked by the Draskaroz System, led by the Cobra Family of Dravakya.

Galactic Year 1156: After forty-nine years of war, and the death of King Kerzon Cobra, his son, Prince Caleb, steps up and declares the war over, offering a peace treaty by joining the Alliance.

Galactic Year 2398: The events as described above take place after Cain Cobra is elected High Chairman.

Galactic Year 2401: Cobra declares himself King and creates the Empire.

Galactic Year 2421: General Duke Doberman, former Alphalord of Rover Prime, leads the Rebel Alliance he has been building into war against the Dravakyan Empire.

Galactic Year 2426: The current year. It has been twenty-five years since the Empire rose to power, and five years since the Rebel Alliance started fighting back.

The Rebel Alliance is a completely military-controlled army, with it's Commander-in-Chief being General Duke Doberman, and it's Vice Commander-in-Chief being Colonel Lars Leonhart.

R-12: General
R-11: Colonel
R-10: Major
R-9: Captain/Commander*
R-8: Lieutenant First Class
R-7: Lieutenant Second Class
R-6: First Sergeant
R-5: Technical Sergeant
R-4: Staff Sergeant
R-3: Sergeant
R-2: Corporal
R-1: Private

*R-9's (Rank Nines) that are in charge of a space station, base, or facility are called Commanders, and those in charge of battleships, starships, and vessels are Captains.

In addition to the main headquarters on Moskan, and the many space stations, the Alliance also has regional bases of operation in each system under their control. Though, all new recruits must first go to the newly constructed RTC Academy (Recruit Training Command) at Fort Hope on Moskan. At the Academy, they will go through a twelve week training course, then be given a rank and assignment. All new recruits start as either Private or Corporal, but can exceed through the ranks very quickly if they prove themselves on the battlefield.

This game will start off as the SS Valiant is only a few days from departing from Moskan. First Sergeant Chance Furlong, Squad Leader of nine X-Wing Fighter Pilots, is stationed aboard the Valiant. Their Fighters are stored in the ship's docking bays, ready to be boarded and piloted when needed. You can be new recruits arriving on the ship for their first mission, members of Chance's 14th Squadron, or crew members aboard the Valiant.

First Sergeant Chance Furlong
Primary MOS: Aviation Operations/X-Wing Fighter Pilot
Secondary MOS: Computer Mechanics
Age: 23
DOB: 112403.7 (Month 7, Day 11, Year 2403)
POB: Katarac City, Panthera
Species: Feline (Striped Shorthair)

Chance grew up on an Empire-controlled Panthera. But, despite the galactic takeover going on around him, he found solace in his father’s basement by tinkering with old machines and droid parts. He displayed a genius-level affinity for computer mechanics, and built a fully operational miniature flying droid. By age thirteen, he had constructed his very own podracer from scratch, and used it to win many races, exhibiting impressive piloting skills.

After turning eighteen, and graduating from his school as valedictorian, Chance was witness to the Rebel Alliance fighting the Empire over the Felis System. The Alliance was successful, and recruiters started looking to add to their numbers. Talking over with his parents, Michael and Cassandra, Chance decided to enlist in the Alliance forces. His best friend Jake Clawson agreed to enlist too, and before long, the two were off to Moskan and the RTC Academy.

After completing the twelve weeks of training, and again graduating top of the class, Chance was granted an automatic promotion to Corporal. Being assigned to the 6th X-Wing Fighter Squadron, the young pilot excelled very quickly through the ranks, reaching First Sergeant within four years. He was granted leadership of the 14th X-Wing Fighter Squadron, and has been commanding it for about a year now.

Ok, I will make sure i improve my grammar, by using word and spell check, though i would like to inform you that im in england so my spelling maybe different anyway.

Also, that titans thing was a one off that i was about to get rid of before remec posted a reply. I also felt very bad about it.

I'll post a bio in a bit.

i'll post mine eventually...i'm doing my morning forum check, then it's shower, and out the door (have to go out to the Social Security office to set up the transfer of my Disability)

Okay, cool. I'll be controlling a few NPCs, as follows:

General Duke Doberman (Canine, Doberman), CINC
Colonel Lars Leonhart (Feline, Lion), VCINC
Major Kent Bones (Canine, Grey Wolf), Director of Central Intelligence
Major Lagus Hopper (Leporid, White Rabbit), Director of Field Operations, Sector 1179
Captain Wade Simian (Primate, Chimpanzee), Commanding Officer of the SS Valiant
Lieutenant Gor Konga, First Class (Primate, Gorilla), Executive Officer of the SS Valiant

Technical Sergeant Indiana (Indy) Aristomache
Primary MOS: Special Forces Medical Sergeant
Secondary MOS: Medical corps
Age: 25
DOB: 32401.12 (Month 12, Day 03, Year 2401)
POB: Caan, Margarita
Species: Arctic fox

Indy had spent much of her childhood downplaying the fact that she was a brilliant girl. One of those smart kids that knew she was smarter but wanted to be like the other kids. Of course now she understands that she would never be like them no matter what but she could pretend and make the other's believe. She grew up with a deep understanding of medicine, her father had been a doctor and her mother had been a nurse. They had taught her froim an early age all about first aid so that she would be prepared.

Now having grown up and gone through schooling she is a Special Forces Medical Sergeant. She is sent along on missions to help with all the men that might become injured. She moved up in the ranks, she had joined up when she was 18, and is pretty high up and happy with her rank and job.

((Forgot I hadn't finished it))

First Sergeant Jake Clawson
Primary MOS: Aviation Operations/Avionics/Xwing Fighter Pilot
Secondary MOS: personal weapon design and maintenance (firearms)/Data Acquisition
Age: 22
DOB: 182404.3
POB: Katarac City, Panthera
Species: Feline (shorthair)

Jake grew up with Chance. They did a lot together, including getting into trouble. Where Chance found his comfort tinkering with machines, however, Jake found his solace working on computers, studying martial arts, and working with the collection of various types of weapons his father, who worked under the previous administration as a government officer, had kept at home. Jake had seen just about everything when it came to weapons. Not only modern firearms, but antique melee weapons and old slugthrowers as well. Early on, his father had noticed three very important skills Jake possessed. One was the ability to break down a weapon, study it for a short amount of time, and then make a better version. The second was a rather obsessive ability to gain access to computer systems that should have been beyond his reach. The third was a talent for physical combat that surpassed even that of his larger best friend.

When Chance had been watching the battle in orbit from on top of his own house, Jake had been studying it on his computer, having hacked into an old satellite network. When Chance had talked to him later that night, in a state of extreme excitement, Jake had smiled. He was hipdeep in studying vectors of the ships, and he had a feeling he knew what Chance was going to say. It was no surprise to Jake when Chance told him that his parents were letting him enlist in the Rebellion. Jake had already been thinking along the same lines, and his father had written a recommendation for him, even though he was still a year too young for normal service. The commander that processed their applications almost gave him a hard time, until the letter was read. He had to pass it on to his superiors, of course, but in the end, Jake was accepted.

Twelve weeks later, Jake had completed both basic training and some advanced training in other areas, and been given a rank and a bird. While Chance had graduated at the top of the class when it came to flying, Jake had managed to do so in several other key areas. One of the surprises was that not more than a week after the two of them were in the air, one of his designs for personal firearms was put into use by the pilots. It would have earned him a promotion, but he had declined on the grounds that 'building a weapon is cake. now, if I'd flown singlehandedly through a battleship, that would be cause for promotion.'. So it was that he reached First Sergeant several months after Chance, and was put in charge of the 12th Squadron, nicknamed the AlleyCats.

Private Shade Wyld
Primary MOS: Aviation Operations/Avionics/Xwing Fighter Pilot
Secondary MOS: Demolitions
Age: 18
DOB: 262408.8 (Month 8, Day 26, Year 2408)
POB: Unknown, he knows it simply as Prison 2611.
Species: Canine, Wolf

Born in one of King Cobra’s Prisons, the only life Shade ever knew was that of a tough hard life. When he was 16 he killed one of the prison guards and helped create a mass riot, during which only he and two others escaped.

One of the other men to escape was a sergeant of the rebel alliance, who had recently being captured, and had helped Shade plan the riot. This sergeant, feeling sorry for the boy as he had had no life outside of the prison, brought him to the Rebel Alliance, and decided to give the boy a chance to join their cause. After showing a great interest in demolitions, Shade happened to watch Chance Furlong in action, and found he longed to fly.

Taking the surname of the man who had rescued him, and had treated him like a son, Shade became a recruit, and soon found himself under the command of First Sergeant Chance Furlong.

Actually, Bones has no control over who gets stationed where. He is the Director of Central Intelligence, and only has control over those in his department. Think of him as the head of an intergalactic CIA. His prime objective is, simply put, to gather information, protect it, and deliver it to its destination. Or rather, that's the objective of his department. Being the Director, he would stay at HQ to monitor his department. And saying there was a mass escape and then in the same sentence that only three people escaped is kinda bogus...

Ok, i'll sort it out then.

...

Is that better?

Okay, a few things. Demolitions and programming are two seperate MOS's. The first meaning bombs and explosives, the latter meaning the input of codes and program engineering. And you still neglect to explain HOW Bones came upon Shade. And how did he RESCUE him if he had already escaped? And, why was Bones there in the first place? Why would he be out on the battlefield and not at his department HQ? How do you know what I had planned for Bones's past? I've noticed in games you play you tend to feel the necessity to attach yourself to a powerful character, even if the said character was created, and therefore played, by someone else.

I don't care if you want to say you knew Bones, but heed my warning: He is my character, I created him, I know what I have planned for him, and I will play him as such. Do not attempt to godmod or control his destiny in any way, shape, or form. At all. That goes for every character created by someone other than you. If you have a problem with that, either be original and make your own characters, or get the fuck out. I will not tolerate godmodding. Nuff said.

i apologise jeffinator, i wasn't trying to GodMod.

I have removed Bones from the profile, and selected demolitions as the sole 2nd MOS.

Is it ok now?
