Another long day at school with nothing but homework for the break. I am finding out that even the first year of college isn't just partying and breezing though with what passed for acceptable in high school.
Guess I should have listened to my parents and older sister. But that ever present "I know it all" pushed reality to that dark corner of ignore.
As I start the spring break, I look forward to some down time at home. With the parents on vacation, hopefully I can knock out the school work and then just relax and pull my thoughts together.
Maybe even talk to my older sister, Kim, and see if she has any advice as she is a junior in college. I don't recall her having similar issues, but maybe she just handled it better than I and never brought it up.
Finally unpacked in my room after not being there from the Xmas/New Year break, I shower and and dress for the pool. So comforting to be home and in safe territory.
