Picnic? What's that? ( :p ) It's been a while.

The first thing that comes to mind is chicken and cherries for dessert.

ETA: Maybe that's because it's what I had. ;)

Grilled steak, roasted chicken, super jumbo franks, potato and macaroni salad, cranberry dressing, cole slaw, rolls, apple pie w/ ice cream

Belch, sorry.

We had stadium brats and lays potato chips. Yummy. When I was growing up, we always had a BBQ and pies and cob on the corn. I Love Summer Food!!!!!!!!!!1

We had cheeseburgers on the grill, potato salad and baked beans. This is the first time I've ever made potato salad that was actually good!

That's the exact same thing we had, yummy. Oh, and leftover 7 layer salad from last night. The kidlet had peanut butter and jelly and chips.

Sabrette's "dinner franks" and corn, and AGB is making something mysterious for dessert.

I had grilled chicken alfredo and ice cream cones and trail mix and sweet tea and grilled squash. It was good because I didn't have to cook or clean it all up... and my mom made my plate and brought it to me.

When doesn't he?

(except when he's eating chicken nuggets)

We were due to go out, but the gosling isn't feeling too good, so we stayed at home.

We've been relaxing on the couch in front of the tv, nibbling all day - tortilla chips, snicker-doodle cookies, cherries, grapes, Milano cookies, lots of coffee, tea, apple juice, water, cigarettes and essential amounts of pain killers.

Now we're watching the big firework party on tv.

Hope you all had a great day.

Normally we have BBQ on the Fourth, (It's kind of a double family tradition, BBQ on Anniversaries and the Fourth so I get a double helping. )

This year though we decided that we were going to eat out instead. (It's hard to cook when you're in the middle of moving.)

So tonight my wife had a Gyro and a Light Beer. *shudder*

Me? I had a Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich, (of course it had the Onions, Peppers and Marinara Sauce) followed by a rather large Jerked Pork Kabob, (with extra Jerk Sauce) which was soon followed by an incredibly tasty Gyro. All of this was washed down with a bucket sized cup of Amber Bock.
