Yes, I ripped this idea from the GB, but there's also a fierce goatee debate on anothe board I hang on.

Alright ladies and gents who like guys, how do you like your guy's faces? Clean-shaven, stubbled, goateed or bearded? I set the poll for multiple selections, for those who can't decide.

LOL, I put other because he don't have a goatee, and it doesn't fit ZZ Top description because moi keeps both moustache and beard neatly trimmed and spiffy. :D

I like smooth, so it doesn't scratch when kissing.

LOL, conditioner can fix that though he doesn't use it and I don't get rashy or anything....must admit he wears it well and admittedly not bushy and the type where you need to go on expedition t find his sweet lips.

It really depends on the guy. With K I like him with a goatee. That's because he looks funny with a beard or just a mustache, and he looks about 20 without anything. I feel like a cradle robber. Not to mention that he looks like a stranger! I have to close my eyes every time we kiss, cause otherwise I feel like i'm cheating.

I know what you mean! E has the Vigo Mortensen as Aragorn scruff. Like this:

It looks really good on him and he has the long hair too. :) If he shaves he looks very odd to me, I like him with the scruff even though I do get minor boy burn. ;)

LOL K's isn't like aragorns, he's too blond for that too look good. He keeps it pretty neat and well trimmed. Plus his hair is really short, which is how I like it. I know some people like men with long scraggly hair and all, but it just doesn't do anything for me.

I never used to think that long hair was sexy, but E changed my mind. He looks a lot like Vigo facial structure wise and the hair looks really good on him. He's growing it out so he can donate it to Sick Kids Hospital to make wigs for children going through chemo. He has wonderful heathy strong hair and it's a really nice colour. I think it will make a really good wig plus he gets to help out Sick Kids which is always a good thing, he's thinking of doing it a lot more often since his hair grows so quickly!

I was rocking a serious fu-manchu biker stache for a long time. Then hipsterism, irony and Johnny Knoxville caught up with me. Now I just rock the straight stubble, trimmed with a head clippers, no guard, about every 3 days. I hate shaving. A man's face was not meant to resemble a baby's ass. The only people who look cool clean shaven are US Marines. Every time I think about getting out of construction, I think..."but I am going to have to start shaving again..."

I prefer baby's ass.

M rocked (if this look can be rocked?) the little, neat, Ronald Coleman/Larry Olivier retro 'stache for a while. That was cute, aesthetically, on him anyway. But the interference with his oral duties was unaceptable for me.

depends on the boy, sometimes even a full on beard is hot (Sam Roberts do me now.) but the current boy I'm enjoying looks best sans facial hair

I like it smooth sometimes, raspy on the sweet parts other times.

Fury :rose:

Damn, even freshly shaved I have perpetual stubble of some kind.

Used to drive my drill sergeants insane.

Yeah, you take it girl. Nothing like a little face burn on those tender inner thighs to remind you that a man has been down there! :cattail:

LOL My dad's like that too. Within about an hour of shaving he has a stubble. My mom says my grandpa was like that, too.

As long as he keeps it neat looking

Clean shaven or with a beard, mustache is Ok with me, as long s ut us kepts trimmed and doesn't look like he just let it grow because he is too lazy to care.

5 o'clock shadow is ok, because it means at some point it was trimmed and neat.

Scruffy is OK as long as it is "trimmed" scruffinesss and not just a case of "I decided to not care about my appearance today"

I would not like the ZZTop look, mainly because it looks like the guy hasn't cared what his facial hair looks like. Long is ok as long as it is kept trimed so the edges look clean.

I only like beards when they look scruffy....planned facial hair irks me.

:catroar:  Oh, yes, makes it very much worth while! ;)

I have that darn sensitive northern European skin, so I voted for clean shaven, five o'clock shadow, or goatee or some other sort of decorative thing. The thing is, ZZ Top and stubble tend to give me horrendous rashes unless the beard is really really soft. So stubble hurts too much, even though I like the look on most guys. Now then, all the guys I've known with goatees and small decorations tended to keep theirs well conditioned, so that doesn't really bother me.

i chose 'other'.

To specify: A full, yet closely professionally & neatly trimmed beard and mustache.

my Master sometimes 'threatens' that He will shave the entire thing OFF. i prefer it to remain exactly the way it is, which is how it was when we met. i love the way He carries the look so well, and adore the feel of it against my face when He kisses me ( and yes, the way it tickles at a few of my other body parts, as well ;) ).

I'm for the clean shaven look.

Though some men do indeed look hot with facial hair, I find it far to rough against my skin for comfort. And I'm a face rubber (like a cat) so its doubly irritating.

i agree. i hate stubble. my face is too sensative and does not tolerate stubble .. i break out in a rash. It rubs, pricks like needles, ... my chin and cheeks would be rubbed raw in no time.

Which is why i love my Master's beard .. it's soft, unlike stubble.
