I don't know, but I do know that it has power to effect the outcome of a harvest of a crop and it certainly has enough power to effect the ocean.

If not scientific, certainly from artistic point of view stirs a part of the human soul, and can bring out both the beast and the romance alike.

I think however that scientifically all you got to work with is gravitational position and light reflecting off of a planet. not much to work with there.

How strange. I just googled four more full moon calendars, of which two said the full moon was tomorrow (7/29) and two said Monday (7/30). What kind of world is this, when we can't even figure out when the full freakin' moon is???

Actually its just after midnight Sunday night.

Oh and WD the full moon has the same effect on me. There are some old sociology musings which state that during the time just before the Neanderthal, men and women lived apart and only came together once a month to share their wares and to procreate. The men supplied the meat and the women just about everything else. It is widely believed that the full moon was the time of this interaction.

It could have happened just that way.
