name. Alonria
class. Shifter
Age. 23
Town. Bear Vally

Alonria 5ft 4in 120lbs in human form, with long Black hair that flowed to her waist and grey eyes that looked silver in her other form's. She has an hour glass figure, genorus breasts, and well toned body from running, or flying around the grounds owned by the clan.

Alonria has only been a shifter for 10yrs... she had been bitten when she was young, and had gotten lucky enough that the one who bit her. Adopted her from the orpanage and took her to the clan to teach her, insted of leaving her to become a rouge, or die durring her first change. Like most that young did. Alonria dosent remember much about her past before becoming a shifter save for that her parents had died when she was really young.

The clan owned a large porton privet propery that included a large section of the forrest area near by.. as well as the section of river that flowed thur the property..and Had high fences outlinging the property with sighs that read no tresspassing.. to keep hunters out.

Alonria's favorite form was that of a hawk..., but she also eqully enjoyed changing.. into a fox, or wolf.

WooT! I want in!

Name: Swooping Hawk
Age: 26
Race: Warewolf
Town: Bear Valley

Swooping Hawk is born both a full-blood warewolf, and a native, yet on a half moon. His tribe lived in Bear Valley and, in tradition with native rituals, named the newborn after the first thing they was. And that was a hawk, swooping after prey.

He was raised in the tribe, but not sheltered from the outside world. He freely mingled with residents of both worlds. As was tradition for his bloodline, apon coming of age, he was to choose his path in life, and he chose that of the shaman.

Swooping Halk stands at 6 feet tall, and with an athletic build. He has long, black hair that he keeps platted in several strands. He wares modern clothes, but with a few extra pouches sewn in

OOC: Are Shifters and Wherewolves living in the same valley?

Name: Tomaz
Class: Wherewolf
Age: 26
Town:
Tomaz 6ft 155lbs in human form, With shoulder length dark brown hair. Blue piercing eyes. He is slender but in good shape. In his wolf shape he is a combination of darkish grey and brown, his eyes are the same blue as in his human form.

Tomaz was born a wherewolf and is most comfortable alone or with his pack. His parents are both dead and the pack is all he got. He will protect his family to the last breath. He have felt the urge to find a mate for some time now. Some of his pack have suggested that he should find a mate among the Shifter clan but Tomaz ain't sure that is a good idea. He know that it would increase the relations they have with the shifters but they are not pack. He are not sure what to do about it yet.

Deondra
human
5'6 brunette with green eyes.

She lived here. She lived there. Mostly on the streets and in the sewers when the weather was bad. She wanted out but chose not to see the elders of the clans. She knew of the werewolves and the shifters and both scared her badly. Yet, she was drawn to them. She wanted the power and the prowess. She wanted the immortality. But, she wanted to feel. She wanted to be able to see the sun and drink in the water.

She wanted it all and to stay human also.

fresh new start not sure if we can get everyone back who was in the other one to start where it left off hehehe

they can live in the same vally or group as long as they can get along.. The ones they call muts or rouges are just the shifter or wherewolfs who are seperatly or in a group attacking and killing humans they call them muts to match there personality.

Hey, I remember this! I will post a bad guy some point later. Got to have a good antagonist after all ;)

Oh, and what are we doing for the vampire mythos in this? Masquerade? Bram Stoker? Original setting?

Have you ever read Christieen Feehan's The Dark Searies??? Was thinking that Vampires are actually Carpations a seperate race like in the books, but only turn vampire after so long with out finding a mate.

The Carpatin race is dieing out, and have very few femals left....the men have no color and begin loosing emotions after a long time and eventually go mad thus the vampire..

if they find a mate their color and emotions return.. full force they are extreamly jellious and protective the one thing they will never do is harm their mate because she is litterly his life line the light to their darknesss.. and if you think about it if you didnt have emotions for 400yrs or more and then suddnely you had them they would run in the extream.

Some loose emotion after 100yrs some after 200yrs it just depends on the will power. Thats as much as i can remember from the books at the moment hehehe

ohhh yes and they can change shape...are telepathic and have the ability to heal by mixing their saliva with dirt and placing it on the wounds. Tho when they turn vampire they are extreamly violent and creative... The job of a carpatian male is to hunt and kill their kind who have turned vampire, and to find his mate before its too late. i think that is the bacic's

If you dont like this idea we can come up with something else. *smiles*

Why not do a mix of styles for the vampires (I may play a female vampire, BTW). Maybe...

A mix between Tsukihime and the Carpatians?

The shape-shifting, the need for finding a mate, and the healing are parts that attract me from the Carpatians as you explain them to be.

The parts from Tsukihime I like are mostly their fighting prowess (seems to be an extreme form of violent telekynesis, that is, slapping objects away with tremendous force using simple gestures) and their mythos.

Arcueid Brunestud, voiced by Hitomi Nabatame in the original Japanese version and Michelle Ruff in the English version

The White Princess of the Shinso, the True Ancestors, Arcueid lived and slept a pure life, but after Roa, the magician, entices her to drink blood hidden with a white rose, she falls from her castle and seals herself away, spending the past 800 years hunting Roa's shadows, living in an endless cycle of awaking from a deep slumber, executing Roa's incarnations and the rogue vampires, and then going back to her slumber, never knowing any connection with anyone. Blonde, with scarlet eyes, she grows to love Shiki and together with him, fights to defeat the serpent, Roa.

So, how about it? Vampires could be created by corrupting an ancient race with blood. Until such a thing is done, the "vampire" does not possess the power to defend herself with telekynesis, or inmortality. The male's role would be convincing the female to let herself be corrupted by drinking human blood. This would explain the rarity of vampires (not all females choose to let someone corrupt them).

The males could possess the power to sense the presence of a female close-by, and as well as shape-shifting, healing and telepathy, they could be capable of "merging" with the shadows. For example, in their history, many males would have corrupted the female forcibly by slipping into their room in the night and pouring a few drops of human blood on their lips.

If the female knows or not about the blood corruption deal, though, it's up to you guys. The male can either be sneaky about it and the female would not be any wiser unless told, or be honest and risk her disapproval.

Also, I guess normal humans could become lesser vampires if given true vampire blood to drink. But they would be a mockery of vampires, worthy of appearing in Buffy. :p

ooooh this sounds like fun. I'm gonna post a similiar charactor that I played in another thread a while ago.

Name: Garnet
age: 19
race: Human
Bear Valley
Descript: about 5ft5 tall, slim athletic, green eyes, dark chocolate brown hair.

Garnet is a witch...an enchantress. She knows many magic spells and potions, of which she sells to lycans, vampires, and humans alike. She usually wanders the streets at night to sell her wares. Although young, her magic is powerful as she unknowingly comes from a long line of enchantresses.

Your link told me nothing of these vampires, their mythos, or their abilities. Can I get a synopsis of what they're like and such so I can give it an opinion besides a raised eyebrow :p

Or I'll do the Vampire the Masquerade stuff because I know it. :D

*smiles* all of the ideas sound very interesting and i would also like to know more about the Tsukihime vampires that way i have an idea of what i am looking at. hehehehe

Vampires in Tsukihime

Apparently, there seem to be two classes of vampires. The True Ancestors, and the Dead Apostles. Two examples:

Arcueid Brunestud

Main heroine of Tsukihime. She is a vampire known as the "True Ancestor". The True Ancestors can be considered as the superior beings of this planet with super strength, knowledge, and immortality. Even thought they can drink blood, they can take regular food in its place and have no problem. But when True Ancestors have learned the taste of blood, they lose their consciousness and begin killing everything in sight. The True Ancestors in this state are classified as "Fallen". Arcueid is a True Ancestor who was brought up to hunt these fallen Vampires. She is referred to as the Princess, and her power is much stronger than the others. However what happens if she "falls"? The result was that all True Ancestors were killed by her. After she regained her consciousness, her only objective was to kill the one that made her fall, vampire Roa. For hundreds of years, Arcueid has been fighting a lonely battle with Roa.

This battle finally comes to an end when she meets Shiki. Their encounter was an incredible one though; she got sliced into 17 pieces by the reversed Shiki. For that reason, she uses up most of her powers to heal herself which leaves her wide open to her enemy's attack. What she decides to do is to have Shiki work with her. Shiki, not knowing why he did (he was in a trance) and feeling so bad, had no other choice but to agree. With the help of Shiki's power, they were able to completely destroy Roa.

Arcueid's ultimate ability is Imagination Realization aka "Marble Phantasm," a power to change a certain amount of space into what she desires. With such power to control the forces of nature, it makes her an invincible being, but the funny thing is that she has the brightest personality. It's not that she doesn't have intelligence, but goes all out with Shiki like a child who got her very first friend. Arcueid, the vampire who hates blood and walks in mid-day wearing all white...

Quote to Shiki - "I'll make you take responsibility for killing me!"

Shiki is the male hero of the game/anime, and is a kind of demon hunter. Whenever he is near someone with "tainted" blood and he is not prepared to hold himself back, he goes into a killing frenzy. In Shiki's case, it is all the more deadly because, although a normal Japanese student in the outside, he has the blood of demon hunters in his veins, and also has a strange power called "The Eyes of Death".

The Eyes of Death let Shiki see the lifelines and dots that, let's say, hold objects, people, animals, and other beings together. When he cuts these lines or stabs these dots, the victim falls in pieces, torn apart.

In Arcueid's case, because she is a True Ancestor, when Shiki enters into his hunter trance and cuts her lifelines (slicing her in 17 parts), she doesn't die, but is weakened. However, at least in the anime, she seems to have problems with blood thirst, supposedly having held it back for centuries through sheer willpower. I guess this only happens in the anime, but wouldn't this mean that when a True Ancestor tastes blood and goes into a killing frenzy, a blood addiction lingers and slowly overpowers the Ancestor until it is sated?

The second kind of vampires are the "Dead Apostles".

Nero Chaos

The sub-boss of Tsukihime. He is a vampire known as the Twenty-Seven Ancestors of the Dead Apostles, the highest in rank of the vampires in the sense we know of. There are two kinds of Dead Apostles, the ones who became one by getting bitten by an another or became one through their magical research. He is the second, and has been living for more than a thousand years.

His power is the extreme number of life forms he has taken in. When vampires becomes old, they replace their decaying bodies by taking in life forms of other creatures. In Nero's case, he has taken in a total of 666 beasts. The name "Chaos" was given from the Church to describe his body that is made up of multiple life forms swirling inside his body. The beasts will only take a shape after they come out of his body, and it can regenerate upon returning to his body even if it's killed. His first name "Nero" was given to describe his brutal personality. The long years and his power have thinned his human mind, but before he disappears he wants to find an answer to his ultimate question, what's at the end of his chaos, the simulation of the primordial sea. His name when he was human was Fabro Rowan The fans likes to call him "professor"

It was merely a coincidence and his misfortune that he met Arcueid in a small eastern country. Although he was pushing the weakened vampire princess, he did not know of Shiki, the man who's going to kill him. To show how powerful he really was, one of his quotes against Arcueid was "Even you won't be able to escape out of that cage... It is like destroying a whole continent."--Nero was using a part of his body to trap Arcueid. I suppose what this means is that he has so many life forms concentrated in to a such small body so that this relatively causes him to be unbelievably powerful. However, this also shows how ultimate Shiki's power was.

As you can see, Tsukihime has both vampires and hunters, so I guess they could be used in this RP.

(However, the story in Tsukihime is far more twisted and dark than just what I've told here)

Those are the examples of vampires as seen in the Tsukihime game/anime. Here is a long "encyclopedia", which might not be as easy to understand as the examples:

that sounds great for an Rp just on it's own hehehehe but we can give it a try in here i dont think we should mix the carpatins in with the Tsukihime tho it would make them too strong for anyone to fight in the thread if the occasion arose. As you described just the Tsukihime the wherewolves and shifters as well as anyone else will be in for a hell of a time of it if they happen to be on opposit sides hehehehe

Hmmhmm! *nods*

Maybe we could mix fluff (read: background) from here and there? Integrate the Werewolves, shape-shifters and disidents in the world of Tsukihime (or viceversa)?

name: Mishka
race:werewolf
age:25
town:Bear Valley

Description: 5 ' 8" in human form, athletic build , long strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes.

In wolf form she has a creamy coat flecked with a mottled strawberry roan effect and eyes that bleed to the richest shade of amber.

Mishka was born in Romania , the daughter of a well to do business man and his wife. They had been killed by a rogue werewolf when she was just turned 16. she was the only survivor and had turned for the first time a month later.

Not knowing what was happening she left the area for a new life. She ended up here in Bear Valley. After a few months she made contact with the local pack while out hunting one night, accepted as one of there own.

Here normal everyday life included running the local gym where she taught taekwondo and circuit training. Her body belied the work she put into it, well toned and muscular. It helped explain to the humans the extra strength that werewolves had so no one thought anything out of the ordinary about her.

Human.

A detective that has recently turned private eye for the money. He has his own problems, and the tampered down lifestyle of the modern police force can't quite compete. Instead, he works cases in private, happy to contend with his own problems and delusions.

He's recently on assignment.

Ok, I think in the end I am creating a mage. A mage as explained in Tsukihime is different from a sorcerer. A mage can work "true miracles", while a sorcerer can do things that would be possible to do through other methods. For example, a sorcerer creating a ball of fire on a hand is possible through matches, so that qualifies as sorcery.

Also, there are only five mages left alive in the world. ( Explanation )

In my case... my mage can materialise souls, meaning she can resurrect, or give inmortality. (For matters of balance in fights, she cannot take souls away, but I will supplement that with Mystic Eyes, read below)

Name: Emily Makerson (true name, Edinea Jagramanh)
age: Looks like in her early twenties
race: Unknown (she looks human, but with Mages you never know, what is known is that she is truly inmortal)
Location: Bear Valley

Description: Jagramanh looks like a young woman in her early twenties. Her hair is short, raven-black in color and falls down to her waist, and her eyes are dark brown, but when she uses their Mystic abilities, they shine a bright golden.

Jagramanh not only can materialise souls as long as the original body is there to bear them, meaning she can resurrect people or give inmortality. She also was born with Mystic Eyes, a condition that submits magic to the control of the sorcerer's eyes. In her case, Jagramanh can re-shape objects or parts of objects. That is, she could make a sword out of a car's steel, stripping it off the necessary material. Her Eyes have been given the title of "The Mystic Eyes of Material Wish".

However, she can not transform an object's composition.

This means that, when Jagramanh was forced to fight and she had no material to use, she was forced to re-shape her adversary. Which was roughly equivalent to tearing a person apart and then make what was left into a dripping cube of gore. Needless to say, she always tried not to be forced to use such an expeditive method. But, she has lived for an eternity and mastered many fighting styles and weapons throughout all ages, meaning that if she is forced to use her powers in such an unsavoury way, it is probably because the subject was abusing his powers and should not be resurrected afterwards.

In this aspect, Jagramanh is often criticised as "believing to be God", but she is not specially boastful about this.

Edinea is care-free and very kind, and has had husbands in many countries, because she gives herself to love freely. About children, nothing is known. She uses her powers for good and does not abuse them, only rarely resurrecting someone and often helping people whose soul was incomplete because of foul sorcery or magic, or who suffered some other kind of illness, not to mention her fighting abilities have saved many others. However, very few seem to appreciate such a power. The Church itself condemns her as a heretic and a devil, for only God can resurrect people (or so they say) and they have tried to kill her a fair amount of times. Shamans and other naturalistics consider death as a part of the cycle of life, and dislike someone who can go around interrupting this cycle.

Apparently, only fellow inmortals seem to not mind her too much. After all, they are already inmortal, but her True Magic could be useful some day, "just in case".
