I just have to say WTF? Is up with cell phones today….. We are going fucking nuts man.
Please let me set the picture. I have had a cell phone from the old Original car phones then to a “Bag” phone….Man those were silly but yes I had to have one to… Wow we can be mobile and talk on the phone.

Then cam the big old long ass tan phones the battery went in the back and was like 4 inches wide…
I think I then had the same thing but much smaller.
After that I think hell really broke out. I had about one of everything then made. Right now I still have a drawer full of them. (I know for a while they were collecting them for homeless ladies so they could dial 911 if they needed)
I have a problem I think. I mean I keep each phone for a year or so but then either something real cool comes out or the phone just takes a shit. They usually take a shit, quality sucks anymore…

So now I just got another. We live in tons of hills and Mt’s so I drop at ton of calls. (Let me find that “Can you hear me now MF I would show is little twiggy ass something) So now I get this Motorola V 505GSM phone. Out here I have AT &T and they just changed from digital to this new “GSM” I have no clue what the deal is but it was my only choice. So WTF? They give ya a book that is so think and Have everything under the sun on them. I had to have this phone as the others I work with told me I had to, that they don’t drop nearly as many calls.
I think it will do everything but give ya a blow job…(might do that to) The best part is we do not have to drive with headsets but I like to. (hell I like to be safe too) But now as if life wasn’t hard enough they tell me about this “New” Blue tooth deal…. All wireless headsets. I now have one and I was able to walk 60 feet away from my phone and hear loud and clear thru it. What is next a hearing aid with a palm pilot and cell phone and gps all in one?
What have we all come to?
Anyone have this kind of record? Do I need to go get help? I mean all the kids but mine have them too…

Oh yes and I know the "Can you here me now" ass wipe is with Verion had most the carriers too and they all pretty much suck.

Shit that has to be one of my longest post..........<whew>

Well, you must be really mad!

;)

I gave up on cell phones when the land lines provided one rate long distance. It got too damn expensive keeping up with the cell and no matter how many tricks they do, I can never figure them out!

:rose:

Y'know, for some reason I got this mental image of a cell phone all wet and sticky with cunt juices...

LMAO....That was good! I think most all vibrate now....high and low....lol
That might be fun.

Then I had this metal thought. There have been a few they told me stoped working due to water damage. The thought of the tech opening it up to find what ever inside. That would be intresting....:D

Thank you, darlin.

:rose:

I have been missing you!

As for cells, the last one we bought, we got home. After all the assurances of the salesman, we found that it was roaming at home! Thank God there was a 7 day return policy. We packed that sucker up and sent it post haste!

:)

I'd do the same thing right away too.

Thing is if I din't need the darn home line for the kids I 'd just go cell............But we have to have those bells and whistels....

I just bought a new cell phone a couple of weeks ago. It's just a simple pre-pay SonyEriccson, cost me $69AU with $30 of credit included.

My old phone was twice as big, I only bought it 2 1/2 years ago and it cost me $169NZ including $20 credit. When I moved to Australia I could still use it but it was roaming on the NZ network I was using and costing to receive calls  I kept meaning to get a new phone but they all seemed so damn expensive, with cameras and all sorts of bells and whistles that I just didn't want or need.

It's such a handy little gadget.....if Master needs to get in touch with me when I'm out, I'm only a phone call away. We spend a lot of time on the net, so now people can get hold of us by text or ringing the mobile :D I have managed to work out how to use most of the functions on it, and best of all it fits into the little side pocket on my bag where the other phone was too big!

I'm finally free of the cell phone! It feels great...

I had Sprint... which is the biggest rip-off in the world. They would turn off my service almost every month, because they would make a mistake in my billing cycles. So I would have this imaginary amount that it said I would have to pay to get service back. The biggest joke is... they won't let you talk to a real person until you pay... so since I didn't have a landline, I had to pay the wrong amount just to get it turned on so I could call them and they could fix it... this happened at least every other month.

When I would finally get someone to talk to they could never speak english... so after a while they would finally credit my account. But they could never fix the problem that was causing the issues. So I was constantly spending hours on the phone with them.

Unfortunately I will have to get another one in the near future... but for now I am just enjoying the unlimited long distance on my home phone. I'm going back to AT&T... the lesser of the evils.

I've been free for several months since I killed mine and haven;t had the $$$ to replace it. Note to all cell phone users: when a small child in your care climbs a really big tree and can't get back down, empty your pockets before climbing said tree. My cell bounced two or three times before the pieces hit the ground. Anyway, it was pretty great to be cell phone less before the land line company tired to fix the lines. Now I have no phone at all, of either flavour. (Thank god for cable modems!)

cell phones....

Hi,

I have a phone at home (or land line) and I'm perfectly comfortable with it. I can hook up my net and have the phone on the same line, and I'm not freaking about having a phone everywhere I go! You know the media likes to be able to send you commercials no matter where you are... and those STOOPID people in my classes that prefer not to turn their cells off in class, well they're the worst. Some people use them as boredom busters. Bored? Call someone... even just for the time. Hey that things not a gameboy!(even tho engage is trying fix that) what we'll have next is communicators on our chest, just like star trek... but the best thing is... they don't ring and play little ring tones! Yup.:p

:rose: :rose: :rose:

That’s pretty funny about it not being a gameboy. I was trying to learn about this thing last night and everything is for a fee but I can download all kinds of games on it. I have no intention in doing this but it will let ya.
Recently I flew from Pittsburgh to La Vegas and that was the first time in all the years that I played a game on my cell phone. The 3 hour 45 minute flight was kind of long for me so I played black jack the whole time.
Unreal what features they have now.:D

For those of you who have cable modems just get Vonage, for 25 dollars a month I call all over the US and Can and most of my caribbean calls are 18 cents a min and below.
I gave up on cells, we have a pay as u go one, and it goes with the car in case anything happens God forbid. every 3 months we either buy another card which bumps all the mins from the pervious months back 3 months or yap it up with a parent and buy a new card

I have to look into that with the cable. Someone else told me about something just like what you mentioned. Thanks a bunch for reminding me about that....:D

Subject of a rant?

Not really much on ranting..well maybe on VERY specific subjects.

But.

To have someone tied up..In a rather nice bondage too..

Just getting ready to swing the flogger ..and her phone rings.

We both laugh and start to return to what we are doing ...When we are treated to the dulcet ringtones of Wagner...

It's the same person who was calling her landline.

Finally I untie her right hand and put the phone in it..
It's her mother.
Not that she really had anything that she couldn't have said to the answering machine. But like a lot of people now, she gets incensed if the other party isn't reachable immediately.

Now get this vision..Here is a terribly pretty girl..trussed up like a puppet...naked..hanging in the ropes..
Talking to her mother.
*sigh*
We both had a great laugh about it afterward ..but.
The whole "I'm sorry she can't come to the phone right now ..She's a bit tied up." thing.

Yah know..I remember when only Doctors and emergency personell thought they had to be in constant contact.
Now every little pinhead grade school kid and semi adult wanker thinks they have to reachable no matter where they are.
And the people on the other end get PISSED if they can't reach you.
To hell with the fact that they really (like most of them) had not a damn thing to say of importance.
I have a cell phone - I leave it turned off. It's mine, not theirs.
I have a pager (I live in a very mountainous area and it will recieve signal when the phones just won't) Exactly 4 people in the known universe have that pager #. Three of them have the instruction that somebody BETTER be bleeding if it goes off.
{Oh and the reason I have a pager is I have kids..The school is one of those with the #}

whatever you do don't let your boss give you a blackberry. it has been my worst nightmare- i'm expected to return email promptly 24/7. it's like im in a D/s relationship where i get paid and no satisfaction :p

This reminded me of a funny episode that happened a couple of years ago.

I was visiting this lady friend of mine, that I had met on-line and chatted and had cyber and phone sex with.

She had just moved, and was living alone after having lived with her boyfriend for quite a few years.

Well we were having a bit of fun in the bed, I had in fact just licked her to a climax, when her phone rung!! I curled up on the bed, having to bury my head in a pillow, since it was her ex-boyfriend that called! She didn't find it that funny, but I sure did! lol

My first relationship after I left my husband was with a married man (yeah I know big mistake.... ) I would drive 5 hours to visit him every couple of months. He never turned his cellphone off - Her Indoors would have got suspicious if she couldn't reach him.

The number of times that bloody phone rang at the most inopportune moments  I now hate the March of the Toreadors!

i have a landline which is strictly for my computer so no one but the phone company themselves has the number and a cell phone...situations like the above are the cell gets either a) turned off or b) put on silent mode when i have company...even if it is totally platonic company i find that a cell ringing all the time is just rude.

lol
I didn't know this topic was for sharing, lol.
I have one, my dad calls the house no answer, cause well we're up stairs (we have 1 phone it's down stairs for a reason u want us that much you'll wait or leave a message) cuffed and being caned, so he calls the cell, now what did he want,
................................ to let me know he bought me beef
my aunt, lets just say prep for anal now includes turing off all phones thanks to her

i lent my cell phone to my lover today, so he could call me when he was done job hunting, and i felt so incredibly naked. i kept wandering around looking for it, until i remembered that he had it. the whole day i had a feeling like i was forgetting something. it was terrible. i think i need help. it's just so nice having it though, because not one telemarketer calls me on the thing. i always know that the call is from someone i know or a wrong number (which doesn't happen that often). And just last night, I was at a very dark mood lit cafe, and someone needed some light, so a friend just busted out the cell phone and we had light! I love my cell phone, teeth marks and all.

oh wow Bloody Heart! it's nice to know i am not the only one addicted to their phone. if i don't have it i am constantly reaching to the side pocket i normally keep it clipped to and getting this panicy feeling when i realize i don't have it. i once even drove home from visiting my family to get it because it bothering me so much that i had left it home...this is not as bad as it sounds though since my apartment is only 5 minutes from my family's house...or does that make it worse???
