How should one handle it when one has so seriously fucked up at the job that it is futile to continue working there?

Do you stay and continue being a problem?

Or just move on at the first chance?

Or quit and hit the pavement seeking another job fultime?

i get mad sometimes at work when someone messes up.if i did i would be out the door just like that.

Don't know what happened but we all have down right shity days.............

If things are no better in the next few days then you look for another job and then quit this one and move on.....

If a person was helpful before something happened, I find it hard to believe that they suddenly became totally incapable of helping thereafter due to a simple fuck up.

But I do recognize that a person can fuck up things so bad that it is best they move on. So, in that case, it would best to move on at the first opportunity - not quit. It is rare that quitting without some preparation helps anybody.

BlondGirl, it can't be all that bad. Wizard is right, we all have some bad days. I would say if you haven't gotten written up or fired, it's not that serious. Stick it out and don't let other people bully you.

if you have to move on , do it when you are ready , try and line something up forst , otherwise sit tight and let them fire you if they have to , cant be that bad you are still there
