I'm not posting this under my usual name, because I get randomly attacked enough already.

I know it's been noted that anything that nears the top of the toplists gets immediately deluged with "1" votes. But has anyone else noticed that a few people seem conspicuously exempt?

I'm so sick of this shit.

Hmm...

My poem "Lust" just went from #1 to off-the-bottom-of-the-list in 3 votes, an impressive drop, in my estimation. This has happened every time one of my poems gets to the top of the list, which usually takes months, as poems don't exactly generate tons of votes. Suddenly, when (3-6 months after posting it) something gets high on the list, it gets a handful of 1's immediately, and vanishes without a trace. Isn't that sweet?

It happens, incidentally, in the poetry forum MUCH more than any other, at least in my case.

I wonder if that means anything?

but how do you check for votes, and where you are in top lists?

Checking your votes

Checking votes is pretty easy Samuari....just head for "Top" lists
You can then check by category....based on whatever grouping you've written in, and you will see where you are sitting in rank against everyone else.

There is also an ALL stories listing as well. And that will show you were you are against all the writers in all the categories!
