What is the goddamn problem wiht the airlines?

I looked last week (4 times) and found tickets to see my baby for $150 US.

so I want ot make sure I when I can book tickets... I get time off work I find a ride and I go to order the tickets....

In one day (but a week on papper) the fucking tickets are now $487 US.

no way in hell can I aford 6-700 Canadian for a weekend trip.

this fucking sucks. I tryed for 5 months to see her before she gave up and came to me.

now I plan to see her and this....

is the fucking world Just against me? and does anyone have a logical reason why the price tripled in a period of a day???

Fly try more places for ticket prices.

When I fly international, I can buy the tickets online for half the price the airline would charge normally.

lobito i'm not going international if I drive 20 mins to detroit it's 300 cheeper

but I looked all day (well for 5 hours today)
on many diff sites. I went to the actualy airlines, I went to the airport site, I went to 5-6 travel sites, I went to yahoo's travel search.

can't find anything under 366

The currency exchange deal Canada has now is really a kick in the balls. It's fantastic deal for Americans coming up here but for a Canadian to go down there, they are looking at losing anywhere from 500 to 800 bucks between tickets and other expendatures.

Believe me, I know what kind of fustration you are going through.

Depending on where in the US you are going you might want to try South Western airlines. They are by far the cheapest on the East coast.

Norhtwest, american air, us airlines, and one other are the only 4 companys I can find that fly out of Detroit Metro

Heya.... Try this.. Southwest They usually have some really cheap deals for labor day. Jen is flying down here to see me a few days before and the ticket on Northwest was a little over $200. She got it through it Orbitz.com

besides checking prices, you should check destinations. flights directly to big cities can be hundreds of dollars more expensive then say a flight that ends in a small town 50 miles away from that city. saving that much money youd be able to afford a limo to take you the last 50 miles of the trip.

Were you going in early Sept for this trip? Maybe the problem is you waited until departure day was less than 2 weeks away? That makes the cheap deals disappear from what I've seen in booking my own flights.

yah that's what I think happened

cause the tickets didn't change price untill a day or 2 ago.

and i'm leaveing for labour day in 2 weeks so yah you must be right.

I wanted to buy the tickets last month but I spent two weeks asking family memebers and my friends for a ride to the airport.

but alas my family loves me soo much that my mother my father all my aunts, one of my uncles and 6 cousins all said the same thing.

"Hell no I'm not driveing in Detroit are you kidding?"
