Yes, y'all heard me right. I said FUCK YOU CANADA!
The reason for my madness to that shit hole country and all who inhabit it is this. About a week ago my family and I were visiting some other family members in the state of Washington. One day my brothers, myself and our wives decided to go visit Canada for a day. We were ready to do some shopping and spend some of our hard earned American money in Canada. Well, guess what happened. Them shit heads who wouldn't know how to be polite if they took a class on how to be polite every day for the rest of there lives, turned us away and wouldn't let us into their country. Well, Fuck you Bitches. Each person that encountered on the Canadian check point was very rude, angry, and a total bitch. It's amazing how you mother fuckers want us Americans to protect your ass and help you out but yet you don't want to let honest american people in your country. You fucking obnoxious, inconsiderate, rude, piece of shit, assholes.

I'm confused!

Ummm...did I miss something here? I mean, are you saying that because they are all supposedly rude and bitchy, they just decided to single you out of ALL those people coming into the country, and on a whim, said "uh, no...we don't want you here...we're not gonna let you in, so neener neener neener"?

Don't even TRY coming to Scotland, Maniac. We're not NEARLY as polite as our Canadian cousins over here.

Yes, Angelique. They did just pick our group out and after searching our vehicle and finding nothing in it and questioning why we wanted to go into Canada they turned us away. We questioned the U.S officials about it and they informed us that the Canadian patrols do that. He went on tell us that he has seen them turn away 20 cars in a row. That is not what makes them rude. The way they talk to you and the way they coduct them selves is just plain rude.

so you think it's fair of you, in turn, to judge the whole of canada by a few of it's more objectionable members?

What if I said the only people in texas were queers and steers and I sure didn't see you with any horns.

How nice would that be?

About as nice as what you said about the Canadians.

I know some lovely people from Texas....I'm not sure you are one of them.

Was there a reason they didn't want you in Canada? They usually have a good reason for turning people away. Sometimes it has nothing to do with you. Canada will not let anyone into their country that they think undesireable, did you fit that profile?

I've been to Canada 3 times and each time I was treated well by the "officials". The only time I had a problem was the first time I was there, the hotel personnel were sort of rude. Why? They didn't speak English well, so there was a communication barrier, and I grabbed a few donuts to take to my room for my man, and they gave me the evil eye, like I was going to eat them out of house and home...uh...no. But, they made up for it when I needed to get a cab somewhere. They must have realized I wasn't evil incarnate after all.

Aside from that, the people of Canada are very nice. Nicer than I assumed they would be upon hearing I was from the United States.

It isn't fair to judge the whole of Canada by the "officials", those guys are trained to be assholes. And if any of you are reading this...I love you guys...and I respect your reasons for being pricks. *kisses*

I was also just recently in French-speaking Canada on business, and everyone was very polite. Even the "officials." As soon as anyone realized I spoke English, they switched from French to English and were very helpful. My taxi driver on the way back to the airport even gave me a history lesson about the area and pointed out sites for me to visit the next time I return.

By the way, I also had expected to meet lots of rude people who were "more French than the real French people." But that didn't happen. Maybe they were surprised I wasn't a rude American, too. Stereotypes die hard.

I'm sorry for my earlier post. I was in rush and Rachel/Roger's comment appealed to my canadian humour. Now that I have more time I'd like to address the issue.

Maniac..I have to wonder why they refused you entry into the country. The border patrol does do random searches but I've found that if you use a polite and respectful tone they usually pass you through. I have been refused entry into the U.S. on the grounds that my reason(going shopping for the day)was unacceptable. I didn't argue because the worst thing you can do is cope an attitude.

I crossed the border earlier on and the last thing the border patrol needed, today of all days, was me running late for a BBQ. They were very polite and I was let through. I think what has you the most upset is that your excursion for the day was ruined.

Now being from french speaking Canada I'll address the other issues.

Sammyjo...Please don't take the rude behavior personally, it's part of our charm. *grins*

Cheyenne...I'm glad to hear that you had a positive experience here. We ARE so rude to each other that I've often wondered if we knew how to behave in polite company.

If anyone is interested in seeing Canadian hospitality at its best, visit Calgary during the Stampede.

btw I find it interesting that it was Americans who posted here and defended Canada. Thank you!

hey ... I'm Really Experienced Now .. did ya notice Freya ... are you watching Jimi???? ... eh????

Sounds to me like Maniac has something up his ass? Maybe that's why Canada wouldn't let him in... They feared he was smuggling something in and they couldn't find where he put it!

~Tiggs~
:D

you got that right Tiggs!!
Dude , Lighten the fuck up shit happens, I have been back and forth many times and they must have had a reason ,I find it hard to belive they just picked you out for no reason.

Maniac, I sense that you're holding back your true feelings about this country so why don't you tell us how you really feel.

Do you have a permit for the Poutine, Sir?

yes it's true Madame Siren, oh wise one, it would be like when Canadian postal workers try to enter your country while they are eating poutine in the car ... no no mes madames .. that would never do ... and they would only have to share their poutine with Sir M., the lovely Eve, and the beautiful *yet highly intelligent* blonde painter once they crossed the border ..

and tiggs honey .. only a fool could mistake you for anything else but a woman :) and what's this .. we get to look up Maniac's ass ...

Maybe you should try showering before ya go next time...

Don't know what your problem was maniac... In the dozen or so trips I've made to the fine strip clubs of Canada, and the time I've spent in Toronto. I have yet to have a problem with rudeness (Although one border guard seemed a little disturbed when my buddy tried to "declare" the can of coke he was drinking as we crossed the border.... But that's another story).

I've had the opportunity to spend time in many of the larger cities here in the Northeast, and by far Toronto is the most friendly city I have been to. I felt safe riding the subway, the streets are clean, and the city itself has a fantastically diverse population...

Now, if you want rude... Go to Philadelphia... Those people are a bunch of fucking mongrels.....

I'm sorry to burst y'alls bubble. Yes, them shit heads turned us away for no reason at all or should I say something that should have no bearing. I'm sorry if you dip shits can't believe that things like this actually happen to honest people. That just shows how nieve people can be.
Yes, they do just pick certain vehicles out and have them pull over to be searched. It has nothing to do with your attitude or the way you looked.

When we pulled up to the booth, there was a women working there. We said Hello, how are you doing? She replied, very sternly, "turn off your vehicle". It was down the drain from there.

Hola! Que tal?

That just shows how nieve people can be

Some one back me up on this... but isn't nieve Spanish for "snow"?

I am not snow, DAMMIT....

turned us away for no reason at all or should I say something that should have no bearing.

What kinda dumb ass thing do ya gotta do to get kicked outta Canada?

Maniac, now you've gone and done it!! You've revealed to the world the true Canadian character. We've worked long and hard to convince everyone of our benign qualities and in one fell swoop you've undone it all!! I hope you're happy; now we have to start all over again. So much to do and so little time, oh woe is me!!

Ignore the man behind the curtain!

OK, I'm probably the least travelled person here. I've never left my home state. (Soon to change). But Australia is probably second only to America in terms of Multicultralism, and I have never met anyone from any country who could sum up all of their fellow countrymen. I've met assholes From Canada, America, Ireland, Scottland, China, Japan, New Zealand, Lithuania, and almost every country you care to name. But I've also met their polar oppistites from the same country, and there really is no nationality that pisses me off. I once knew this French guy Named Vincent, and he was about as nice a guy as you could hope to meet. So you may have met a bunch of Assholes in Canada, but that doesn't mean Canada is Full of Assholes.

One thing though, I fucking loved the title of this thread! Don't know why, but I pissed myself! I think it reminded me of Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore where he goes Berko and knocks the nose off the Laughing Clown at minature golf while Screaming "FUCKING STUPID CLOWN!!". Plus, saying Fuck you to an entire country is pretty funny! Just thought I'd say that.
