...... god bless you Glen Sather, and Sparky........ GET READY FOR THE BIG "E"...... coming to an NHL rink near you.

If I seem a little happy its not because I am a huge Lindros fan (although I do appreciate his ability), but because his signing virtually gaurantees me $$$$ in my "rottiserie hockey pool" this winter. Not to mention Canada a gold medal at Salt Lake City.

Its a good day.

personally I think he is a spoiled over paid goof and he should sit out another year.
He has been dictating everything since he came into the league and has done nothing to prove himself.

OK...here is a question...how long do you think Lindros will actually last this season? do you think he will even make it thru preseason?

He'll make it until they play the Devils, and Scott Stevens will hit Lindros so hard his next job will be as a doorstop.

This guy has what..6 concussions? Why is he still playing? Does he want to be hockey's version of Muhammad Ali?

They have been down for awhile but too early to tell how they are this season yet. I will let you know as soon as I can. I like the leafs too.

LMAO..thats cuz after I posted it, I realized ESPN.com still had the 2000-2001 schedule posted, and it was LAST October 17th that the two teams played their first game of the season.

Spoiled goof....maybe.

But to be worth 10 million a year...... obviously he's proved something to someone. Someone named Glen Sather who is no mean judge of hockey talent.

By the way its BRETT Hull who will be following along.Bobby (Bretts dad) is a little past his prime.

PS. The doctors say his heads ok, at least as far as concussions go.

lol.. as I said in my post it was a personal opinion.
Glen did not phone to consulte with me which is too bad I could have straightened him out.:)
You are right Glen Sather knows hockey talent so perhaps he can make him play to his potential.
I am sure he will help your hockey pool alot.

Is it finalized yet? Has he signed with the Rangers? Can I start preparing my lungs for nice long "Boooooooooo" when he skates back into town? Sorry, he's done nothing but whine and complain for most of his 6 seasons. Yes, I know Hart Trophy. But really, how could he disappear everytime the post season came around? Chokoe artist with too many headaches is all the New Yorkers will see.

Lindros needs to retire permanently. Professional sports does not need another star dropping dead....go out proud like Young and Aikman, not zipped up in a body bag or permanently scarred like Ali

How in the world could you say that a guy who won the Hart trophy hasn't "proved himself".

How about actually watching hockey instead of just listening to Bobby Clarke?

Well, I ain't an outsider but the Leafs don't suck and like every year they look to be a team that'll make the playoffs and advance a round or two and then flame out.

I do watch hockey and I stand by my own person opinion of him.

Well than your personal opinion of him belongs in Texas or Akansas.

He won a Hart Trophy, Captained us at the Olympics and scored 100 points a few times. What does he need to do to "prove himself"? Healthy, he is one of the top 3 players in hockey.

Oh I am sorry. He has scored a 100 points a couple of times then he has to be worth what he is asking.
If you worked out how many points he has scored since he started his whining and dictating in the league it would not be very impressive.
Even when he was healthy he only played as hard as he had too. Yes he is talented but his attitude and his team spirit sucks. Toronto is better off without him as they would have had to give up alot of good young talent for someone that could go out with one hit.
