Fuck. Another dog attack on stock.

It's starting to become a regular thing around here.
I'm not sure why, but this place has become the dump ground of choice for people abandoning pets, and the problem is getting worse.
In the last month alone, 9 dogs were caught in this area.

Last night, some of the ones we haven't caught yet got into the top paddock and ripped apart 2 sheep (I'm boarding my neighbours sheep atm).
It was a bloody mess I hate having to destroy good animals because they've been mauled

We'll get together with a few neighbours tonight and see if we can either catch them or shoot them.

I have no idea yet. But with the size of the bite mark on one ewes face, it looks like they are at least kelpie-sized. I'm assuming it's more than one.
Plus, it takes a fair size dog to rip through fleece and tear open the gut
