I am new to this whole board and I had a couple of thoughts about the SRP. I really love it but is it just me or does anyone else feel like frustrated when you are into a character or thread and then nobody is around to keep it up. Or maybe I am just impatient. So, essentially what i want to know is all of your opinions about SRP/RP threads. Anyway, if ya'll would let me know, ya know with me being so new it would help me lots and lots!!! Thanks..

It does feel a little frustrating when you are working on a thread and the one person that you need because they are one of the main characters doesn't show up and you have to wait for them. That is probably why I am crazy enough to be in so many threads, that way I know that one of them is always on the go.

I don't think I have many tips, wait I have a few. Always love what you are doing, especially the thread because if you don't your writing will suffer. Get to know your fellow authors because they give you great ideas that lead you in places you didn't think of. Don't be like me and jump into multiple threads at once and add to someone's post, don't just write one of your own.

That is about the only tips that I know of, I hope that they help you.

I have a tip when that happens. Open up a notepad and keep playing. Play their character, play everyones. Keep the juices flowing. Not on the actual srp or rp. Don't expect them to play the same way. But many a story have I written by doing this. It is fun and creative.
Do not play their charcter. You know how frustrating that can be.

Thanks for the info. I do enjoy writing in here quite a lot. I tend to be shy about my writing but I think writiung on the board is helping me to come out of my shell. Thanks again. I will try to get to know everyone I can. I have read alot of the other threads and a lot of the stories and I have like a lot of them very much.
